I don't see it as aggro but a means to an end, so imho it's worth it.

I already have a Live ID anyway for SkyDrive, Xbox Live and Hotmail.

Hi TOG tried to set up a/c right to the end , they want receipt, don,t know how to give them that to register product before I can ask a question.????

Hi tog, tried to upload , but couldn,t.
BUT. I,ve got it working, just by pressing STB continually, picture quality good, 81 channels, getting the glitches I read about on reviews,
1;;subtitles on all time, and sound on max barely hear it.
Have to refer back to old thread for reviewsto try and rectify them..
Just about to unplug and send it back.:j

I,ve sorted subtitles and sound, but upgrade;;;
As mine is 2851, I think it,s alreadt upgraded as the link gives me options to upgrade 2850, et.al;??
A lot clearer, OH says so, and she,s the only one that watches tv, need another now;;;;for new tv 2, same as tv 1?
Now it,s sorted, might get another, glutton for punishment, or just a nutter;;:T

What does OH think of the picture quality of the 80-odd Freeview SD channels compared with only the 4 HD channels.

If, like mine, she doesn't really notice the difference or it doesn't bother her then you may as well save yourself a few quid and just use the built-in Freeview tuner on the 2nd TV.

To upgrade your Easy HD-2851T receiver, just follow these quick steps:
STEP 1: click on this link and save the software upgrade file on a USB key
STEP 2: switch on your receiver and, if it is brand new, just follow the installation process. If you already use your receiver, go to step 3
STEP 3: plug your USB key into the USB connector located on the rear panel of your receiver
STEP 4: go to the MAIN MENU > INSTALLATION > USB UPGRADE, then follow the instructions. The upgrade will start automatically. Once finished, the window "what's new" appears. You can remove the USB.
