I'm trying to fashion my own window-filler for use with the Amcor 8k BTU unit. This comes supplied with a sash window vent fitting (about 9" high), but I have an inward-opening casement window. I'm looking for a flexible but robust material for a sheet which I can place in the window frame above the supplied foam fitting. This will need to be removed every day to lock the window.

I want something flexible as there is a gully in the window frame (about 1.5cm deep) which I can slide the sheet into if it is flexible enough to bend while I insert it. I was thinking of something like perspex, but more flexible. Does anyone have any creative ideas?

Would corrugated plastic work? It's kind of flexible along the ridges...
