It's put together by an individual, all of whom have different circumstances. Just because a job doesn't pay much doesn't mean it has to be done by "a spotty teenager" or is any less valid than other types of work.
Meh, every Dominos I've ever been in it's been a spotty teenager. I agree that that doesn't *have* to be the case, but in my experience it *is* the case. I was always under the impression this was due to the lower minimum wage for 16-18 year olds, but I may be wrong.
In any case, I didn't mean any slight against Dominos employees, or to suggest they're in any way less "valid" than other "individuals". My comment was regarding how Dominos pay people in order to achieve their margins, not about the employees themselves.0 -

They tend to mainly employ a cheap student workforce. It's not a class thing just its a low paid job with little pressure and suits a younger workforce. Plus it's cheaper to employ them and they are run as franchises.
Although interestingly the one near me employed Jon venables who unfortunately got outed and had to leave. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

As HappyMJ points out, it's a bit of flour, some oil and a quid's worth of toppings. The thing's put together by a spotty teenager on little more than minimum wage and delivered by another with a banger.
When the pizza costs £15+, it's not really rocket science to work out that they're operating on a pretty massive mark-up...
Well I wasn't just working that out, I was just offering agreement.0
