I had a problem once - one pizza (of 4 total ordered) arrived uncut. Rang to complain and without hesitation they simply resent the entire order (yes all 4 pizzas). So they clearly don't care about losing the profit on a lot of pizzas since the markup is so huge.
You couldn't cut a pizza yourself? I have now lost all faith in humanity and am praying for the nuclear holocaust to end it all now.0 -
Of course I could, and I did. I also got 4 free pizzas.0

If a company can give 50% discounts if you work for a particular company than it shows much much mark-up the full menu-price is.
Independent pizza place near me (where there is a lot of competition) does any 11" pizza for £3.50 - made fresh from a lump of dough in front of you. If they can do that, I'm sure Dominos could do their pizzas for a lot lot cheaper than they do

Supply and demand, and marketing. Of course they could do it cheaper - their business plan and performance shows that they (currently) don't need to.

They often get my wife's pizza wrong as she does not have cheese on it. This always results in a new one being sent straight away and we get to keep the other one.
They have good CS

£3.50...you're being ripped off. My local independant pizza place does a 2 topping pizza for £1.99 collection only.Independent pizza place near me (where there is a lot of competition) does any 11" pizza for £3.50 - made fresh from a lump of dough in front of you. Dominos forgot my garlic bread the other day - the driver said he'd send someone else with it but of course they never came. I'll ring them and see if they'll compensate me!0
