I dont know what shops you people use
The Asda ones are okay, but pre made bases will never beat fresh

Agreed, haven't yet found a shop bought fresh or frozen pizza that comes close to Dominos. Even my home made pizzas with fresh bases are a mile off :( I have mastered the herb dip though and can make that taste just like Dominos.

It's an expensive treat occasionally but gosh its enjoyable :)
  • I've just ordered a pizza for myself and I'm really disappointed with it.
They got my order wrong (only about the crust) and its freezing cold. Its such a shame but I just can't eat anymore of it.

Is there any point complaining about it?
Cold pizza is nice but for next time u could always heat it up in the oven?

    3 tblspn Mayo
    1 clove crushed garlic
    1 and 1/2 tspn Parsley
    1/2 tspn Mustard (French's I find best)
    1 tspn lemon juice

Mix it all together and slowly add milk until you get the dominoes consistency

  • OP it could be worse. I ordered a pizza from pizza hut for me to pick up after a late shift last week, they clled 20 mins before the time it was due saying they "ran out of pizza"!!! At pizza hut? Then had to call CS day after to get refund on my card and the guy on the phone had never heard of them running out of pizza before. Dominoes is better anyway, gotta love a double decadence.

I often buy cheap frozen pizza bases and cover them in my own toppings - really tasty and a LOT cheaper!

I'm going to save that in a text file, and next time I have a pizza, it's going to get made :D
