domino pizza

I've just ordered a pizza for myself and I'm really disappointed with it.
They got my order wrong (only about the crust) and its freezing cold. Its such a shame but I just can't eat anymore of it.

Is there any point complaining about it?

I usually find that if you ring up and complain pretty much as soon as you detect a problem, they will send out a replacement straight away. I've even had them send out a replacement AND give a refund before. They're such high markup items that they seem to give in without any fight.
  • after umming and aahing I just called up and they offered to send out a free pizza tonight or another time... I told them another time. Don't really fancy trying another one tonight.
    thanks for the suggestion :)

If a company can give 50% discounts if you work for a particular company than it shows much much mark-up the full menu-price is.

Agreed. Dominos wouldn't do 2 for tuesday if it wasn't profitable... I should be in the pizza business.

Delivered pizza has to be the biggest rip off ever... £18.49 for a large stuffed crust pizza...How much if you made it yourself? The base is basically just flour, bit of oil, yeast and water...that's very cheap. Tomato based sauce. Quite cheap..It's only a couple of tablespoons....bit of cheese...that can be expensive...the toppings are cheap. Anyway most reasonable frozen pizzas are around the £3 mark. So just get one out the freezer stick it in the oven and it'll be ready quicker than a delivery.

Never had a problem with Dominos CS, always offered a free for next delivery, which reminds me.........
  • Whilst massively overpriced every now and then Dominos are just what you need.
I had a problem once - one pizza (of 4 total ordered) arrived uncut. Rang to complain and without hesitation they simply resent the entire order (yes all 4 pizzas). So they clearly don't care about losing the profit on a lot of pizzas since the markup is so huge.
