Please can you put me down for £75 for February

I went out for the day on Saturday and although I don't include eating out in my grocery budget I bought doughnuts and chocolate which I brought home - therefore I have to include them. I am cross with myself but I need to be honest.

  • NSD for me yesterday - yay! Don't know if I will get another one today, I might need to get some squash/hot choc for my desk at work.

Sorting out the food for the rescheduled tournament and worked out that those who have paid don't need to again and out of the new people paying I can get all I need (bread, ham, cheese and fruit) and still have some left over! Oh and I will have a small grocery spend as I am going to make a cake to take to celebrate me now working haha (any excuse for a cake;) )

Spent about £32 yesterday between Boots, Morrisons and Costco. I have enough teabags to last me until the Apocalypse now though ;)

I'm over budget if we're looking at this weekly, but will definitely be on track for the month as the freezer is groaning. Going to have a nice cheap pasta dinner tonight and then I'm away for the weekend so although I'll be spending, it won't be from the grocery budget :rotfl:

Just to add I tried those 8p mushy peas - as I love a bit of the mush with pie and chips! - and they were delicious. Honestly - given I'd been paying nearer 50p for the leading brand. The only difference was colour - and for the 42p saving, I can cope without my mushies being bright green! :p

Another vote for these, I stocked up when they were 4p and just love them, A drop of green food colouring improves the colour for those that wish, I dont bother though.
