    £12 in MrTs...cereal,ham,mushy peas (back to 8p a tin :) ),choc spread,mince,bananas and juice

Just to add I tried those 8p mushy peas - as I love a bit of the mush with pie and chips! - and they were delicious. Honestly - given I'd been paying nearer 50p for the leading brand. The only difference was colour - and for the 42p saving, I can cope without my mushies being bright green! :p

Evening :) Tiny spend to report of 78p on some mushrooms for the week - Mr M didn't have any loose ones yesterday or the packs I normally buy, so I thought I'd wait until I can visit Mr T today. I'll update my sig.

Jacket potatoes (or JackPots, as my sister calls them) with melee beans tonight. Looking forward to it. :)

Sorry, meant to explain. Melee beans are what I call anything that's going a bit bendy or living on the bottom of the fridge - leftover bacon chunks, a cold sausage, the odd mushroom, half an onion - that kind of thing - all mixed up with a pinch of mixed herbs, some smoked paprika, a good glug of BBQ sauce and a tin of beans. :)

    Hope that explains.

I have been a little awol recently as I've been poorly and very busy. I've tried to have a good guesstimate as to how much I've spent. I'm not sure it's entirely accurate :o but I'm going to go with it and now know how much I have for the rest of the month (up to the 19th).

Will be back on track from now though. ;)

Hope everyone is doing well. :D

Didn't post last night as I was finishing my book:). We had a tea of omelette, HM spicy wedges and beans. Made the omelettes using the last 4 mushrooms about to turn, last 2 bits of bacon and the bit of cheese that was left.

It's DH birthday today and he decided he wanted a steak instead of sausage casserole. I don't mind and I don't have quite enough sausages left so will carry this over until the weekend when I get more sausages.

I had to stop and fill up my washers with water on the way home so stopped at a Mr S near a retail park I pass nearby on the way to work having just gone past the petrol station when they ran out. There is a home bargains, M&S, pound land, matalan and a few other shops so will pop in again of there is anything I need in future as it is convenient.

Spent £1.68 in HB, £5.50 in M&S and £20 odd in Mr S but got one of them brand match vouchers worth £1.59. This did include some wine for DH, 4 GF chicken steaks, chips, mush and tom, new flavour of GF oatcakes and a couple of creme eggs as I have discovered they are GF:D:p

Off to catch up with the thread:)

Our weekly food shop this week cost a whopping £13! Even with the overspend from last week, that still puts us at about £76 now, so we're back in line with what we should be! Also, I am rounding up receipts, so those extra "free" pennies should help too, and means I don't need to try and remember all the exact amounts!
