Whoop whoop, well done you!! :T :T

Didn't get around to making bread rolls for lunches at the weekend and had used up the HM loaf made at the weekend so popped to Waitrose to get some bread.

Went in just before closing time and was accosted by a lovely staff member to ask would I like a pack of diced lamb (350g) reduced to 59p, it can be frozen he said!! Erm yes please was the answer!! Result!! :D  Also got two rolls at 5p each and the original loaf of bread. Total £2.03. ;)

  • Have you tried the all#i dishwasher tabs. I am not sure what price they are. But they are not as expensive as the finish ones I have a pack in my cupboard but have forgotten what I paid

I have had them and they were absolutely grand - good cost too (think they were £3.99 for 40, so 10p each). These Finish Quantam at HomeBar*ains were the same per tablet price though so that's why I went for them. I'm happily swapping brands for Al*i's own at the moment - next week I'm going to try the meat too. I'm definitely an Al*i convert :D

NSD here. May need to buy milk tomorrow.
Still feeling a bit under the weather. Ate better through the day than yesterday. Dinner was as on my menu plan - mexican rice and sausages. This was a packet of rice that Mil had bought - so OOD. It was so salty to our taste buds - not something I would buy - but hate waste so decided to use it.
Dinner tomorrow - steak - FF with potatoes and veggies.

Did I dream it or did I see an offer in a TV advert for £10 off £35 in Morries? Did anyone else see this? There's a new one opened 5 miles away so I may have to check Friday (NSD until then)

If someone has posted this already I am sorry, I haven't got time to read all atm. RL in the way.

If it's true I hope this helps someone

I believe its spend £35 x 3 times in February then you get a voucher for £10 off another £35 spend.

4th NSD this month as had to look after grandson who was off from school feeling poorly, hopefully he back tomorrow.
Crab cakes tomorrow instead of today due to change of plans and hopefully make another loaf. Have cut all the chicken up that was left after sandwiches off it today and its in the freezer along with the carcass for stock.
Fruit & veg running low so not sure if tomorrow will be a NSD or not.
    MARCH £62.38/250
