for those of you who have booked online previously do you need to pay the full balance of your holiday when booking online or is it the standard £38 as when you book by post then you pay the rest off when you get the confirmation. stressing as can't afford to pay for two full holidays just now but two £38 i can probably do

It's just the basic price to start with, you'll receive a letter/email of confirmation straight from the park for any extras service charge / linen /entertainment passes etc.

just the £9,50 per person the holiday park you are going to will invoice you the rest and it doesnt have to be paid at the latest until 8 weeks before you go xxx

We are trying for Cornwall this time - always wanted to go but it seems v expensive. Hopefully the Lizard area because it's supposed to be stunning scenery :)

The Lizard is very beautiful, as is most of Cornwall!!! The only site I would be cautious about is the Fowler St Ives Village, some of the Chalets are in need of updating. They are set in woodland and some appear quite damp...a bit pot luck though as my BIL & wife had a quite nice chalet but they paid a full upgrade and really I thought both the Haven & Park caravans we've stayed in are nicer!
    :T2013...nothing..still hoping though!!

well maybe other people don't have time to keep answering same questions same way you dont have time to sit on computer all day

If you have time to slate a fellow newbie, I'm sure you have time to help them, If the thread was just a few pages long I'd understand your Quarm, but come on....It's 20 odd pages long. God forbid you might need some help on this site one day! If you don't like what people are asking, then it's simple....DON'T ANSWER THEM! Please take note it says on the NEWBIE ALERT sign says at the left hand side

Hiya this is my 1st post on a thread so am very new :) I was just wondering if anyone knows much about the caravans we are planning on having 5 of us go but want a 3 bed caravan will they give us 3 bedrooms for 5 people of do we add couple of people on the list and pay 7 people so looks like more are in the caravan any advise please will be great full. We went last year had a 2 bed caravan but was only 3 people sharing. Thanks
I'm sure theres an option to upgrade, that might be more economical, and you'd get better accommodation.
I'm not a complete idiot....some parts are missing

Can anyone recommend a site in France not too far from the ferry port (not over four hours drive?)

All the 'paris' sites are about 3 hours from calais. We stayed in le chene gris last october. It was perfectly located and we had a lovely van with decking. Best bit was there is a train station at the actual entrance to the site!

We used it primarily as a base to explore paris. Would stay there again

We're all in this together and if people don't read the thread or can't seem to find answers to their questions they are entitled to post as much as you are. If you don't want to answer then don't that's up to you but I don't think getting narky with each other is helpful in the slightest. As my lovely mum used to say - if you don't have anything nice to say best not to say anthing. :o

    :j Well said :)
