I've been to Duinrell in Holland in September for the last 3 years - it's FANTASTIC!

Went to I Pini near Rome - I wasn't overly impressed with the site itself but it was great for seeing Rome on a tight budget! (I think we also got stuck with a site's own caravan rather than a Keycamp/Eurocamp which looked a bit nicer).

Also went to Norcenni Girasole in Tuscany which was absolutely beautiful!

No problems with cleanliness anywhere - our caravan near Rome had a few ants wondering around - but it was quite warm when we went so perhaps that couldn't have been helped.

I was thinking about that one in Holland the other day, I mentioned it to my husband!

    Did you fly to Tuscany?

I feel silly excited about all this!

I'm hoping to do a Europe one with my priority code and maybe try and get somewhere like Isle of Wight with the postal form.

Oh, and what's the weather like in Holland in October? And is the water park great?

I've been to Europe several times with the sun holidays and always had a caravan, never a tent, the caravans usually have their own private enclosure.
There is one park 203 right next to Calais if you want to go abroad and don't want to travel far. Calais is lovely and the beaches are nice.

    Good luck

Just looked it up on Trip Advisor, it has great reviews!
Thank you for the tip, I'm going to have a tough time deciding!
  • well maybe other people don't have time to keep answering same questions same way you dont have time to sit on computer all day
  • I've only been to one park in Europe with Sun hols which was 204 Domaine de Drancourt. Very tidy, clean site with small pool and playground and a little chateau which houses a nice bar, wifi etc. The local town (St Valery sur Somme) is lovely - well worth a visit. This park is about 1.5 hrs drive from the Calais/Boulogne ferry ports.
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

We're all in this together and if people don't read the thread or can't seem to find answers to their questions they are entitled to post as much as you are. If you don't want to answer then don't that's up to you but I don't think getting narky with each other is helpful in the slightest. As my lovely mum used to say - if you don't have anything nice to say best not to say anthing. :o
