The Sun £9.50 holidays, JAN 2013 code words and final word cracking thread

Got my email confirmation for my postal application today. First choice park (Haven Church Farm), 3rd choice date (1st Nov - Half Term)

So I go on to the Haven website to have a nose and see how much the holiday would have cost if I'd booked it direct. Turns out that Haven Church Farm closes on 31st October! So what's going on?

I don't want to go if the pool and entertainment will be shut. Assuming that someone will be on the reception to book us in LOL. Has anyone else got this trouble.

It's funny that the park is shut on the last weekend of the October Half Term!

I sent the sun an email last night. I will call the park when I get the confirmation through the post and know the full details of who to contact.

I posted here in case this has happened to someone else before, and they knew what was going on. Or someone else has the same weekend!

how can you get confirmation for something that's not available ?

you said your dates aren't available @ that particular site ?! as it closes for the season

I would be contacting the park direct to ask what's going on and IS the park open for your dates

Hope you get some answers

Iknow this is a big ask but does any of you lovely people have a spare priority code that you wont be using, we have been on lots of sun holidays however moved house last year and have not received one. i have emailed twice to request one and to no avail,

hi, im new to the sun holidays and so sent my postal application of as soon as i had the 10th token, my cheque has been cashed but i have not had any confirmation from the sun (i ticked for email confirmation), after reading through the thread i have seen that a number of other postal applicants have had their's and also that companies seem to be asking for the remainder payment within 14 days, do i just wait and hope i don't miss this deadline :undecided

you will have a letter by Feb 28th

you could try ringing round the parks you put on the application
