Hi missyp123. I also applied by post for the first time this year, and just sent first class not recorded. Cheque still wasn't cashed on my account today, but have come home to an email from Haven confirming my booking, so don't lose heart just yet. We got our 3rd choice hol and 4th choice date, although we were able to be flexible so really didn't mind when or where we went. Our dates were outside of school holidays as our little one is only three.

Hope that helps you a bit, fingers crossed you get your hol.

I emailed them yesterday and just got a reply.

my 1st choice st ives bay and my second date choice :T
  • After no contact from the sun and my cheque cashed i found the number and called the haven Sun Promotional Holidays on 0871 230 1922 as all the parks i put was with haven. They were able to give me my holiday details at witch i got my 1st choice park and 4th choice date (was limited on my dates due to my oldest taking his exams) :j

Hi, can anyone recommend a good park/venue in the North or North wales (Within a couple of hours drive from Manchester)

    Thanks

I've been to Hafan Y Mor in Pwllheli and really liked it there, can't comment on others though as not been.

I went there a few years ago, it's a great site with loads to do on site and nearby. Also there is direct access to the beach via steps on the site (unless it's changed now!)

I got my holiday details, did anyone else have £15 added for equipment damage waiver? We've been given a 3 bedroom villagrand with deck at La Croix du Vieux Pont :) Although can't see us sitting out on a deck in October half term, lol!

yes we did too but there was nothing on the site (as we booked online) nor in the brochure so was a bit annoyed that another cost had been added that I wasn't expecting

I had it,when i rang up i just asked for it to be removed then all that happens is you pay £100 depost when you book in,and get it returned when they have checked van on leaving day.
  • We did this last time. We asked for the £15 damage waiver to be removed, and were prepared to pay the £100 deposit when we got to the site. They didn't ask for it though!
OH was paying the balance over the phone today for la croix in october.
I'm assuming he did the same this time. Will check with him when he gets home.
Steph you got an upgrade.:D I'm jealous. lol. We got a two bed villa nova with decking.
