Has anyone stayed at La Grande Metairie, Southern Brittany - and if so what sort of accommodation did you get? Does anyone know on French sites do the Sun have allocations from eurocamp/keycamp or actual the sites themselves?

We have stayed there for the last two years at may/june bank hols. The first time we had keycamp, which was really nice, but last year we had kelair campotel, and this was not as good, didn't even have a proper oven, just a combination microwave, but having said that, it was okay. The campsite is really good especially if you have kids.
    Joovce, Joovce you want me to spell, it's a J, V, C.

Received my booking confirmation from Park Resorts and they want the balance paid in 14 days? I normally pay the balance in March with Parkdean/Haven and can't afford it within the next 14 days!:mad: I'm not going til 27th May!

oh my God, we got the same thing, as we only want 2 passes we'll ring them up
they gave all these extra options too
But they had this pay in 14 days business before so I phoned and I explained I won't have funds until a certain date, paid £10 I think and they put a note on my account that the rest would come on so and so date and they were fine about it.
I did email the sun to complain about it and just realised I never heard back. I think it would be good if lots of us emailed the sun about this 14 days business as I am poor and it's too short notice for people struggling to budget.

I've stayed at Siblu and Eurocamp on my holidays in Brittany. Always been in a lovely clean caravan.
  • I've stayed with Eurocamp and Vaconsoliel with the sun, and siblu and canvas independantly.
Found all of them pretty good. Stayed in vaconsoliel in october. We brought our own bedding, mini oven ( a cheap and cheerful lidl one), and even a toaster..lol., and of course a fan heater. We never go anywhere especially in october without a fan heater.:p
