Please don't make a mockery of people's mental health. That's really below the belt!
Excuse me it was the OP who said the state her daughter was in.
I personally think the OP should be using her energy in helping her daughter and son in law to find work rather than being rude to posters who have the right work ethics.
You need to read posts properly boots888 before making pointless remaks..........thank you0 -

That is not the case at all. Poster above is right - people like to kick people when they are down.
OP came here for advise and did get some good advise and empathetic words but the few that have gone completely "left wing" are pitiful and shouldn't be permitted to comment.
But hey ho! It's an open forum eh! Anyone can say what they want right, it's not agianst to law, it's up to the moderators!!:T0 -
OP as had been mentioned, on 13th Dec you say your daughter has now got a flat, on 8th Dec you say everything for her is now sorted and how lovely the people in the benefits office were to her.
You said she found it hard getting somewhere to live that would accept housing benefit except for a run down flat ( the one you say she had now taken) to get housing benefit you either have to be claiming benefits or on a low wage.
If this is the case what is this thread all about? She's either not claiming anything or is claiming benefits and is living in her own flat, very confusing!0 -

Yes, Op stated her daughter was struggling with her mental health. That's a statement of fact.
You then went on to make a mockery of OP's mental health!!
Didn't you!!:eek:0 -
For someone to be so worried about their daughters mental health (suicidal threats) and the lack of money she and her partner has I find their postings so rude.
Maybe OP you need to take a step back and consider ways. of you and them finding any kind of job that brings in money and you might have a happier life.
Good luck with your search
Is that not making a mockery of one's mental health!
ie, get a job, make some money and - be happy!0 -

So is this not what this whole forum is for then? It's for people to claim what they need when they need it? Your post makes no sense.
Maybe MSE should close this benefits board down altogether then?0 -
