So is the father now British?
With a bit of luck they will find another country that pays higher benefits than the UK and they can try there.
As a whole they just seem to follow the handouts.

No ILW!! He Spanish and alway will be, but he's a European!!

You need to get down to the discussion board to spout your vitriol and anger at policies instead of banging on here with your daily Mail rants.

You've 5 stars to your name - !!!!!! - behave like it before we all begin to think the credits you've gained are worthless:eek:

Usually they say that when the answers they get aren't to their liking and the penny drops that there is no magical wand for their problem.

For someone to be so worried about their daughters mental health (suicidal threats) and the lack of money she and her partner has I find their postings so rude.

Maybe OP you need to take a step back and consider ways. of you and them finding any kind of job that brings in money and you might have a happier life.

    Good luck with your search

Please don't make a mockery of people's mental health. That's really below the belt!

    wheres the mocking?
There wasn't any mocking was there?

    I didn't see any.

The op's daughter and son in law need to stop focussing purely on benefit-getting and get themselves out and take any job they can find, ANY job.

If people have no advice to give, then move on. dont make situations worst! Like my mother says "if you have nothing nice to say, then say NOTHING at all"

    Guess it's fine then.
After all the UK do have plenty of spare cash laying around to pay to anyone who's own country of residence will not give them handouts.
Funny enough Spain seem to have hundreds ot thousands of spare houses where as the UK have a shortage. But never mind. We will support anyone that asks.
