It wouldnt be removed because only one poster reported it. There would have to have been more, and if Admin had thought it was okay, then it would not have been removed.

I am wrong often, and am quite happy to hold my hands up when I am and apologise in the correct places.

You dont need my permission to post anything, but you run the risk of admin deleting any post.

Yes, it would - posts are removed rather than "moderated" because it takes to long to look at each one in context.

You really messed up on this one.

So - back to the original question by the OP - your husband should claim Income Support asap which he is eligible to do because he is receiving SSP. However, due to the weekly amount of his SSP and your wages it will not be payable immediately but you may be eligible for something when the mortgage interest kicks in - obviously I cannot say for definite that you will receive help with your mortgage as I do not know how much your mortgage is but my advice to you is for him to claim Income Support immediately to start the ball rolling.

See link on how to claim Income Support - https://www.gov.uk/income-support/overview

We also have this problem .My partner suffered a brain haemorrage on December 1st and has been signed off for 4 months. We have been told that we can live on £111 a week and we have 3 dependant teenagers ! Feel totally sick with worry and have been told we are not entitled to a mortgage holiday (even though we were offered one last year when partner was made redundant and didnt use it as he found a job within 2 weeks !!)
We also get £47 ish child benefit and £180 ish ctc for kids .
I cant see how i am going to get through 3 months like this .£85 SSP weekly , £169 monthly wage (mine),child benefit and ctc.
Have been looking for ANY work since partner came out from High Dependancy Unit and nothing .
Feel for you OP , feel sick that other people are going through the same thing :(
