I agree. I never felt offended if that would help matters. I have been told to F*ck myself when I have questioned a single mum on why she lets her hubbie stay over on weekends and visits every other day and she claims benefits as a single mum. So in that respect your post hardly deserves to be reported. :)

And I apologise for implying you were a troll. Just a few around right now and I think your reply made me 2+2= 5 etc. I'd like to apologises for jumping the gun, it was uncalled for.
  • Well it seems that Mckneff has indeed had my post removed, please all be careful what you post as Mckneff may not agree with it.

Sorry to hear that. Its difficult to post what you think over here. There are rules to follow etc.

That would be in the two days since you joined MSE, would it?

The rules I can cope with, posts being removed because of one member thinking they know better than everyone else who contributed to the thread and never saw anything wrong in what I wrote, is another matter.
I mean I never set out to be rude and believe me I more than have the ability to be rude if I so wished.
I realise that this site needs long standing members who post thousands upon thousands of posts but surely they also need new members who themselves are allowed opinions.
I have received no PM, warning or anything to say why this happened so does anybody know who I should speak to about this.
I also doubt if whoever removed it has actually read the whole thread

Yes, in two days but twice told to f*ck myself in one thread. All because I didnt extend sympathy but instead chose to ask questions about the arrangement. Not that I am offended by that, its just to show there are more offensive replies in this forum.

It wouldnt be removed because only one poster reported it. There would have to have been more, and if Admin had thought it was okay, then it would not have been removed.

I am wrong often, and am quite happy to hold my hands up when I am and apologise in the correct places.

You dont need my permission to post anything, but you run the risk of admin deleting any post.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Does anyone know how we can find out why it was deleted? It would appear that the majority were in no way offended, so I'd like an answer as to why. The deletion is also pretty stupid as it's still there in four different posts. Further to that if that post was deleted by admin or a moderator for anything offensive I can only assume they have never bothered to read anything posted in "discussion time".
    It's someone else's fault.

Well, dodger quoted it in post 22 so people can still read it and make up their own minds.
