Pinterest is an amazing thief of time, but brill for inspiration
Here is my board of things I have made :-)

I bought some clothes from the charity shop today and as they have a special offer on at the moment (brilliant - buy 2 get 2 free) and had 3 items I needed 1 more to get maximum value for money (tight or what!!) Anyway I ended up making up my 4 items with a Guinness T-shirt (not my size but really liked the logo) and wondered what to do with it. The only thing I could think of doing was cutting the logo off and framing it? I also found a t-shirt I haven't worn for ages (too small now, or rather I've got too big!) but can't throw it out as again I really like the logo (Statue of liberty print)
Any suggestions of what to do with them?

Have finished it! I reckon I actually burned calories making this one, the last point especially felt like hard work... But it looks fab :-)
Next to finish some rug mugs I have underway... Still thinking about a present for mid feb (best friend from Uni)... Maybe the rug mugs?
The Guinness logo - do you do embroidery? Could you put some beads or sequins on it to enhance maybe and then frame?
Or start a collection and make a quilt :-)
Or if it's too big could you refashion it to make a top that does fit? Lots of stuff on Pinterest to that end...0 -
I need really easy suggestions
as a bloke I'm worrying if i'll be able to put it in the washing machine and iron it without breaking it ha ha so embroidery totally out of the question lol But great idea for those in the know.

Depending how big the tshirt is you could perhaps fashion it into a cushion - depending if you can get access to a sewing machine it'd just be 4 straight lines of stitching and bung a cushion pad in it?
Mysk I love the starwill be a lovely present! Can I ask what's a mug rug?

It's like a coaster but big enough for your cake as well :-) my kind of coaster!
This is it half done, I need to finish quilting it (they are basically mini quilts, great for using scraps) and then bind the edges. An American thing I think, but they make lovely gifts. I usually give then with a mug, homemade biscuits and a sachet of hot chocolate. The strips are 2" wide, for scale.0 -

That sounds a bit more do-able! Will have to try on an old tshirt before just to make sure i can sew straight lol28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A0 -
