I cheated slightly when I make flavoured vodkas, either Home Bargains or Iceland do a Vodka shnapps about £5 for a bottle - the alcohol % is 22% compared to 37.5% for standard vodka, but by the time you added ingredients noone can taste the difference, xx

I hadn't thought of that. For the limoncello you do need the real stuff as it gets diluted with the lemon juice & water, however for the toffee vodka sounds fine. Noticed Pippa Middleton was suggesting mars bars & after eight mints as alternative flavours. Anyone tried them?

the mars bar chopped into small pieces, then topped the bottle up with vodka, did the same with the choc orange, - just shook it every couple of days.

The 1st batch (did them all in small bottles) tried to top up the choc one with extra vodka, but it didn't mix so I called it Choc layered vodka! x

Oh dear, you are making me feel thirsty / hungry!
Might try the mars bar one if I can avoid drinking it myself but the temptation may be a glass too far!
