I agree with Mum2one, my YD is coming up to 18 and she has always liked those kinds of things as she likes to pick her own make-up but loves things like masks and wipes etc

I have managed to sew 2 of the stockings for my advent calendar (idea I got from mum2one) and that's about it for now. Was busy with my best friend's hen party over the weekend so didn't have time to do anymore. We did trapeze :) and now my arms hurt but was good fun.

I was in Superdrug 2day and I was impressed with the MUA range, there was a good selection, thou the only let down for me was the foundation, think there was 5 colours, so could be a bit of trial and error.

    ---
Yankee Candles - in Clintons 2day I got some of the sampler candles at 50% off, (vanilla satin, beechwood, lime sumthing,) they also had lemon lavender (but to me that reminds me of cheap airfresherner, something and pine forest (bleach toilets!!) the rest of the range had got 20% off.

I did notice that there was no wax tarts in any of the fragrances.

Card Factory - as well as the full 2014 diaries, they had calenders and multi packs of cards - just incase anyone wants to stock up early!!

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi cadz I'd go with the hamper theme as well ... Also to add to m2ones list . The £ shop has some of those hair wraps in. I know everyone got them but they coloured and have Disney characters on . Belle, tinker bell , look better than a £ , top quality too. You should also check out Wilkerson their range is good too. How about a night in at the movies hamper too. All my family want one each of these every year. With coke, dips , nachos , popcorn. Perhaps a small wine depends on parents/ teen

Mum2one- thanks for the heads up... Have to get to home bargains

Echo - wow £4 for an handbag , that good going.

Car going in today. I broke it lol so I'm grounded , so I'm up early to do ? ?? Who knows, just thought I'd make a day of it

Good luck with the car Susan. I am up early too, OH should be in soon, hes working nights today and tomorrow and then again the weekend. Means I don't get much sewing done. I am off up town this morning to pick up my new glasses then got to pick up parcel from sorting office. Not sure what else to do today.

I have won another book on Ebay to do a bag so that will be the four of them done for the big girls. Going to make cloth bags for the next size down girls lol, there are three of them to do for. Not sure what to do for the three boys this year, last year the two big ones had cushions, one is 17, one 15 and one just 6.

A quick heads up for Thursday, Boots are having a points event, £7.50 of points back on a £30 spend in store and £7.50 on a £50 online. Sadly not on at a store near me but maybe near one of you? http://www.boots.com/wcsstore/cmsassets/Boots/Library/Assets/PDF/Events/summerPointsEvent/Summer_Points_Event_Store.pdf

Fantastic if you're buying things you need anyway, all helps towards Christmas.

Also lots of good deals on alcohol at the moment at the supermarkets if you're stashing them away and wont be tempted ;)

Does anyone know of any toy shops that do toy catalogues all year round except argos? I want to get an idea of what my daughter wants so I can look out for bargains but the argos catalogue is too heavy and fiddly for her to look through.
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff
