    Morning all

I hope you dont mind me joining you. I am sat here at the minute looking for ideas as I realise it is almost christmas in july and I have done nothing and by nothing I mean not a single sausage.........

my daughters birthday is tomorrow so I dont tend to start shopping now until September although I have figured out a budget for both my kids (9 and 3 tomorrow) and whereas my little girl is easy my son can be a bit of a horror with what he wants.

This year I think I will be making a few homemade gifts but Im a bit stuck for my boyfriend and what I can get him. He has really gotten into workout out lately and likes his protein shakes/shakers etc so Im thinking some sort of nappy/baby cake but using shakers/towel or tshirt from his favourite sports store/protein bars etc......
    Time to find me again

Just thought I'd give you a laugh - I know us ladies are wonderful and can multi-task - but there are limits!!

We were going to my friends daughters engagement party last ngt, not knowing where we were going said we'd meet at their house (met them in 1999 - never got round to going to their house), - so running around wrapping presents, then mum decides as its her friends 50th bday and her daughters 21st as well as the presents we would do a 50 and 21 box, the front room looked like Santa's grotto... got sorted.

Showered, chucked clothes in bag (getting dressed at friends) make up bag in, Sat nav set up, dad said he'd drive,(I wonder who the car really belongs to, he's like the bee's knees in it) and I could relay Sat Nav directions(put in on silent when set it up, couldn't remember how I did it) - then looked down hadn't shaved my legs. (Was holding out for a carpet look to get the moneys worth from Veet cream) !

Luckly as makeup bag hadn't been emptied from hols there was a disposable razor - got my leg up on the dashboard trying to shave my legs - pulled up at traffic lights, the bloke by the side of us howled... did it - reckon 9/10.... then I remembered I was wearing trousers!!

I have now finished Miss Hoodies bday prezzie - got her an ipod touch reduced on amazon from £180 to £128 - only had to put £18 off it.

best thing the rush we had earlier in the week to get her netbook paid off, we paid £129.99, argos have put it up £149.99!!!

We have a bloke who does all the computer for us, just pass the box across and he does it all, (brilliant organiser, but not technical) as both are same (I got the same) he's only charging to set the one up, - save us £70....

The netbook, Ipod, - is off mum, dad and me, got a couple little bits - union jack suitcase, accessories for the computer (she knows about - she choose them) ordered her a jacket from amazon - baseball style with glow in dark sleeves.

had nice afternoon in the sun, did a school fete, made £13 after the table, they forgot to put it in the paper got rid of a few bits, and £13 off the holiday....

Miss Hoodie on a sleepover, so quiet without her,

Hope everyone ok and enjoying the good weather. xxxx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

I'm soooo excited for Christmas teehee! I've ordered my little nephew some Vans pumps and a Beatles tshirt from the next sale, the vans were only £12 which is a bargain in my eyes!xx

Hope everyone enjoyed the warm weather, we did a carboot at school fete, nice as we didn't need to get there till dinnertime, made £27 - all in the hol fund.

    Hi all,

Wow lots of busy stuff going on! Especially impressed with the carbooting, every now and then I think I will but I'm just too lazy....:o I take my hat off to you!

    Have been drawing:-

I think the little chap in the hat is looking a bit sun tanned though, in reality he is very pale! So I think I will re-do him.

I am keeping eyes peeled for bargains. Still not got around to doing the book bag....Argh! Need to pull my finger out!
