I am like a kid with a new toy, Argos have re-opened the clearance section and you can search into which ever store you need.

    Have been good...(ish)

Sods law - couldn't get one item in store, unless travelled 40 miles, so figured pay £4 and have lot delievered.

Got dads bday present - he's having a green lounger sunbed and matching cushion, the "proper price" would have been £95, and it came in at £33.

Miss Hoodie - going up for her bday - shes having a pull along suitcase and matching back pack - in cupcake designs - reduced to £17

Headphones as she's broke hers - there are some bargains to be had, my reckoning is there starting to clear out before the catalogue changes in July xx

One more gift to buy, ten more to craft, and the gifting for 2013 is done! I want to get my Dad a Groupon for something, so I will leave that for the moment, and the crafting will happen before baby arrives. How's everyone coming along?

Hi ive just found this thread hope you dont mind me joining I love christmas :)
This week after selling bits and bobs on ebay and saving the money up in my paypal account I managed to get my 12 year old the mobile she wants new off ebay so thats her present sorted :) even got the one direction case for it. Quite pleased it didnt cost me anything ! I got my mums present in january a bargain on ebay a me to you limited edition figurine worth 75 pound for 20. Im saving boots points and vouchers so I can get my dad something and I need to find something for my 2 year old but he has special needs and an obsession with traffic lights so that may be difficult his birthday is also 4 weeks before xmas.
Love this thread enjoying reading all your posts so far and poaching ideas

A big hi starlight - sounds like your organised with the phone, bet ur daughter will love it.
    xx

Cooking day 2mor - beef in red - some go for tea with jacket pot's and rest go in freezer

Inbetween - going to make the lemon marmalade.

Day in town - nearly picked up a policeman (literally) in Lakeland and he came out from behind a display right into the scooter!! don't know who was more shocked him or me!!

Don't know if anyone has stocking fillers to get for girls - but Claires have up to 75% sale - got earrings £2 (some were single pairs they were sterling silver (5 pairs - original price £6 to £10 a pair) and strip fun earrings 9 pairs on the card £2 (instead of £9) and they came up as 3 4 2 on the till. Good savings.

Got an invite 2ngt to take part in an online survey for sports betting (did one before) for 3 weeks - 2 hrs a week - £30 amazon vouchers - so said YES!

Hope everyone ok and has a gd weekend, thou we've got rain forecast all weekend!! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Helloooooooooooo!

I am here but tend to read and run at the minute I am afraid.

Just tried redeeming on Swagbucks for an Amazon voucher (My Dad is such a grump about anything I buy him so this year he is just getting vouchers!!) but it asked me to verify, didnt like my mobile number and then wanted to send it via US Mail?? Anyone else had this?? I have contacted them so hopefully they can sort it for me.

I will have to be super duper careful this year as more people to buy for but much less funds with which to buy!!!

Several people on the Swagbucks thread have reported this same problem

The work around at the moment is to ask for a postcard to be sent to you. It will take about 10 days, but is currently the only way around it if you have been asked to do telephone verification.
