if anyone makes a book called 'little aggies fresh snowdrops and what they did in one day" or something like that into a bag i will cry. i had this book as a teen and loved it but it got left behind when parents split up. so if any one does come across it please let me know before you rip it apart. from memory its similar looking but darker almost navy blue with an embossed cover, its about a victorian poor girl who picks snowdrops to sell and each chapter follow a bunch and tell the story of the buyer.
You probably already know Mrs M but they've got the book in paperback on Amazon - it's not cheap but what price can you put on happy memories? If ever I see one secondhand I'll be sure to let you know.

Hope the link works, if not I search 'fresh snowdrops' in books.
Thanks for the link for the bag handles Rufus, I've added it to my favourites because I just know it's going to be useful at some point. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

Hello everyone,
I've been awol again as my prevous on/off relationship ended and got a new one, this time with someone that is around a lot so swopped my socialsiing out of the house for socialising in the house so only just caught up with the posts, he's not around this weekend.
Loved the bag Rufus. It looks very professional.
I enjoyed reading all the recipes on this thread.
Last month I bought some chorizo sausage in a round and tried using it in various recipes - hated the darn thing, won't buy it again. So if I don't get round to trying anything else for this challenge that will have to do.
Mrs M, thanks for the photos of your stitching, you are very good..
Glad to hear Miss Hoodie is better but no doubt everyone in the house will get ill. Strangely enough around the time it must have happened I got told by a friend that she had been in a cafe and a woman was violently sick just like that.
How lucky everyone is having new wardrobes. When you said your mum was having a 3 door one, I misread and thought she was having 3 wardrobes and presumed she must have a big bedroom lol. .0 -

I tried another new recipe last night: smoked bacon and marscapone spaghetti. Really simple and absolutely delicious:
Chop an onion, half a pack of mushrooms and half a pack of bacon. Put some oil in your frying pan and as it's heating (a bit over medium, not too hot) put spaghetti on to boil. Throw veg and bacon into the pan and stir around until nearly cooked. Add some chopped basil (I used lazy basil, couple of decent tbsp) and parsley (I used dried, a generous shake) and stir around until everything's coated and it all smells green, then add some black pepper. By this time your spaghetti should be cooked, so check it, drain it and put it nearby. Add a tub of marscapone to the pan, melt it all in and stir it around so everything's evenly mixed, then stir in the spaghetti. Put on plates and serve with extra black pepper on the top and maybe a salad.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

For the cooking challenge I made The Easiest Curry In The World.
Chop onion and fry in olive oil
Add any "extra bits" - I went with half a pack of quorn pieces, a couple of chopped potatoes or courgettes would also work really well
Add bit of garlic (puree as that's what I found in the fridge
Add one tin chopped tomatoes
Add one tin green lentils
Add 1 spoon cumin
Add 1 crumbled stock cube
Simmer until lentils cooked
Serve with rice
Have enough left over for lunch tomorrow too
And it was so cheap to make :ASealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Hi all
Echo, is it the cumin that makes it taste like curry? I don't recall ever making any so don't know. It does sound a good recipe to try. Good luck with the drawings.
I like the pasta dish Sugar spun.
Mum2one, I really do hope that new furniture all fits in. Anything interesting for you to do this week?
I overlooked a birthday, couldn't find a decent card to bring, however they never get me a card so I didn't worry too much, I gave them a kiss instead.0 -

It is. You could also throw in a bit of chilli powder too if you like it hot.
I've been drawing up a storm!! Lots of practice as I want to give a few this year for Christmas. They are all here if anyone would like a peek:-
