=Birthday Side=
As were getting through they year, use this month as a chance to check Birthday cards and whether you need them or can make any... Theres 2 bank holidays in May - allow extra postage
Husbeast's birthday plus one wedding and then it all calms down until October. I think I have cards for both upstairs, I should look.
=Presents=
As well as checking the birthday list, have a quick look at the birthday list - make sure you haven't doubled up a present, given the wrong one away, or put your supply up somewhere safe that you know where it is...
That list is in excellent condition. Nothing is doubled up on, and only my Dad's gift to buy (he is still having radiotherapy and I was loath to buy a gift without knowing how he was doing in case I then had an advance gift that hurt my heart. I had my grandmother's gift already when she passed away and it almost killed me to give it to her sheltered housing people).
Have a run through your Christmas list, whether its just checking cards, looking at the budget, - delve as little or as far as you need to go.
Cards check, check and check for the next EVER. I still have a few things to make, and I need to make sure the baby's gifts (mostly handmedowns...) do not smell basementy.
Recipe challenge
I baked vegan mini muffins last weekend, have never baked vegan before, does that count?
Car Boot
After selling 125 items on ebay in April I have nothing left.Ended up emergency purchase leggings and tshirt - I asked the bloke in the shop could he reach me a tshirt down - (he was the member of staff / manager) he turned round and said I'm not your slave, haven't you got legs you can use........ so I politely told him to stick his clothes - that got daughter that was covered in sick or did he need glasses - and yes I do have legs - but being as the tshirt 5ft up on the wall couldn't reach.
VERY glad Miss Hoodie is ok. Call head office of that shop about that man, how completely unacceptable. Or send them an angry email! GAH I hate it when people are unnecessarily rude. Even if you're thinking it, you shouldn't say it.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi all,
Sorry to hear about Miss Hoodie. :(I hope the rude man gets what is coming:mad: Lovely to hear about all the other good samaritans though:D
I am having an unusually quiet weekend. Everyone has been at work yesterday and they're all there today too.
I have spent some time de-cluttering my recorded programmes while practicing my crocheting. Got 3 stitches that are great:T but struggling with others:mad:
Never mind, I have 2 months to complete the project......It's a very small one:rotfl:
Miss-moneypenny. I hope you enjoyed the brownies. One of the quickest and easiest recipes ever! I can knock them up while making a cuppa!
Off now to check my cards/ gifts lists as I seem to have a lot of extra's this year- 2 weddings, a 40th birthday and my DD is 18 soon so need to check the list for her "drinks before we go out" do!!!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Sorry to hear about Miss Hoodie, despite the horrible people you mentioned, Im glad there were some people out there with a heart and kindness. Glad to hear she is feeling better
nitnurse - I am a huge fan of making brownies funnily enough so thanks for your recipe, I really want to try it! I picked up a fairtrade recipe card from work for normal brownies, however I have adapted it to make... chocolate orange brownies! Even if I do say so myself, they are immensely delicious! All i did was subsitute the 50g of chocolate chips and 50g of hazlenuts they suggested for 100g of chopped chocolate orange (lindt do one but so do aldi, and its much cheaper!). I also threw in the zest of a large orange. Also to make them even more choclatier, I substituted a small amount of flour (about 35g) with cocoa. I am drooling just thinking about them!0 -
The brownies sound amazing ! ! !
I am a rubbish cook (lucky that dh does most of it but it does make me lazy) so I may do them for the cooking challenge .
Dh framed my drawing for friend's birthday present . I love it !Sealed Pot Challenge - No. 117

Sugarspun you've inspired me to get my lists organised and dig out my card boxes.
We have sooo many Birthdays in June. I need to sort out my sons birthday pressie ( he lives in Australia) and get it posted. I might order from Amazon. My DIL is end of June so usually organised them both at the same time.
Added to that we are away for a few days mid June so need to have ds3, dh and dd pressies all organised and with me.
Right off to get my box out.Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
