I lost some more weight this week, went two weeks with nothing and 4 lbs off this week, dont make sense but happy about it anyway. Need to knuckle down and start making some bits to sell. Thinking of doing some wedding fascinators as I have some bits left over from making my one. This is the one I made for myself

Rufus - that's gorgeous . You are so clever

Mum2one - glad miss hoodie feeling better, how's grandad hoodie doing is he over the bug yet

Kitchenbunny - I make lots of personalised things for Christmas ... I made a tshirt and bag yesterday ... Well not actually made them. Personalised basic ones I should say . DS wanted a walking dead tshirt ... I made him one out of a £2 plain tshirt and he chuffed to beans with it. I've also made personalised baubles... Some with photos in and some as Santas belts and names ... Been making lots of Xmas things lately ... Trial runs on Christmas things...

Fatblackandwhite- that's a gorgeous bowl. Price has gone up but lovely present . Ty for sharing

I'm off to art class today. Trying some new techniques. And as regard the spring clean mum2one that sounds bad for us later in month... Miss hoodie- Easter coming so go easy on us lol

I just read the whole of this thread and you guys are very inspirational!

You have spurred me on to get really organised. I have set up a "Christmas fund" standing order so should have £200 by start of December. Also started getting a few bits - got 10 books (kids books) off Book People for a tenner. Also "the jolly postman" for £7 (rrp £13).I'm going to count the "what it's worth" price not the sale price and then buy more to make it up to the imaginary amount I think I should spend.

Anyway, enough waffle! Thanks for an inspirational thread. I hope it is okay for me to tag along.

Hi Madz - a big welcome. - pull up a seat, grab a cuppe or glass of wine and your soon be sorted for xmas, - with a gd natter en-route, - we may be a small thread, but were al lovely bunch of ladies (and gentleman - 1 at last check!!).

That sounds an amazing bargain - I'll have to have get 1 for mum and dad - there golden wedding in jan - family party - nice memory.

    xxxxxxxxxxx

The bedroom degutting has started again with a vengence - my bedroom is like a tardis - how it gets so messy no idea.
Got a brill bargain from our local table top Sunday - new shoe holder for the wardrobe, velcos over the rail - the woman brought it for her daughter, who didn't want it as it was pink - 50p to me!!

I have sorted out all toilettres, - kinda took advantage of the offers at boots, and had just left them in the containers - along with last yrs containers too nice to chuck away!!

    I have 20 showergels, 30 body butters / scrubs / 10 puffers
Make up - found 10 unopened mascaras!!

I sorted out 2 x bags for charity, couple of skirts for ebay and what felt like a bin full of rubbish, yet you open the door and it just looks the same. Think now by stripping the wardrobes to the bare bone - help keep tider.

Bless her Miss hoodie - she went for a walk with dad and the dog and made him change his route, she brought me some chips from the chippie as a treat for tidying up, - a quick microwave they were warm, - so she helped me share them.

Hope everyone ok, Miss Hoodie asked tonight is is time for Miss Hoodies corner yet!!!

Hows everyone gettign on with the £2 challenge......... i'll use my shoe storage as my treat xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi everyone , welcome to the newbies who it seems already got the hang of money saving.

Mum2one- good clear out, I could do with one but hate parting with things. The shoe holder was a bargain though. Well done. I like the idea of table top sales. It's warmer than booting. I like car boots but ours gets so big I can't get round it so it puts me off going and I don't like crowds

How long we got for the £ 2 challenge? I've done a couple of things but can't make up my mind which ones to include... Decisions decisions ...

This for the link madz might have a go at that thank you

Echo - welcome glad your tagging along. Those book sound good prices. I get the email daily for books and the post puts me off. I have a thing about postage but the books are great value arnt they

Have a free day today , no hospitals , don't need shopping, don't know what to do with myself lol. I'm crafted out ... Suppose I could tidy the craft room , save things in there as they come in handy and what a mess ....
