mum2one, hope your friends sister is going to be OK, poor miss hoodie i hope shes feeling a lot better this morning.
i would think those pampers absorbent mats are useful in situations like that you could spread them over the bedding and just throw them away should hopefully save you so much washing if it carries on.

Ts have easter cards 50p each or 4 for a £1 if anyone needs them

    Hi all

Susan glad you enjoyed the weekend.

MumtoOne, sorry to hear about Miss Hoodie. You have a lot of interesting things going on such as the hotel away and the premonition. It's odd how things like that happen. Hope your friend is ok.

Rufus - the wedding outfit sounds gorgeous

A few strange things happened to me lately. Last week I had a really detailed dream about my group of online friends in America. I had word they were about to all visit me the next day and I was panicking about what cakes I had. The odd thing was that one of the ladies had a similar dream, although her's was that I was visiting them. She didn't know about my dream.

Saturday night something peculiar happened after my night out. I got home and made myself a sandwich, and started to get undressed - was in underwear and socks and went downstairs to do something. Slipped and fell, luckily still holding the banister so fell onto the steps with a bump. After a few moments of surprise I made it down to the bottom and suddenly had a weird experience. I thought I was in someone else's house. Freezing cold I was surprised my clothes had disappeared and I was expected to stay downstairs without any blankets so I found a sheet on the clothes horse and put it over me and slept at the bottom of the stairs with my head on the step. Eventually got very cold so decided to go upstairs and find a bed to sleep in - no matter who was in it!!!

Really shocked to discover I was in my own house!!!

The night before I had been out and the man I was with disappeared, on Sunday morning he called to ask me for his mum's mothers day card. I put in my bag the night before, I asked what happened to him and he said he couldn't remember, all he recalled was walking in the last pub with me (we were together for a few hours) and next moment waking up on his bedroom floor.

I wondered if our drinks had been spiked or it was just a matter of coincidences. DS1 thought I got like that through dehydration as I had been exceptionally thirsty in the past few days and after having some alcohol might have reacted.

My back has been playing up since Saturday so only just read that messages on here.

Anyone else had a strange experience like me with the stairs?

Angela - hope your ok, the incident fri ngt that really sounds like your drinks had been spiked, esp for the both of to have the incidents.

Thats so weird with the cake esp as one of the other ladies had a similar dream.

We had ngt of ngts I finished load 2 of washing at 430am, from then another 2 bed changes, she ended up in bed with mum and dad, and was poorly most of ngt, rang Gp this morning, they think shes picked up sickness bug, just keep her hydrated, touch wood shes not been poorly since 12pm, shes fast asleep at the mo, were taking turns checking on her.

Good news got my Boots parcel - felt awful going out, but had consultant app, gd news not COPD of the lungs, so its back to my asthma being unsettled, which is at least more managable, so called back via Boots to get parcel and top up paracetamol and runs tablets, xx

mum2one - hows miss hoodie doing? Its awful when the smallies are ill and you cant do anything about it.

DH not happy, he been told he has to go to Amsterdam for a week on a course...he supposed to be retired!

DS is beaming, he has a new job. And they told him he`s not working easter sunday as store is closed. But they`ll pay him. They then rang and asked could he do morning shift for more money

Angela - sounds like your drink was spiked...it happened to me so it looks as though it was, best to inform the place though as they cant help you but can keep an eye out.

My voucher turned up 2ngt, less than 24hrs later, very impressed, i did offer Miss Hoodie to choose what she wanted, and bless her heart she said no you deserve a treat, (a tear o 2 appeared)
So I treated myself to "cooking songs" double dvd - only had to pay 99p, complete mix of songs but nice not to feel guilty buying me something.

We now had granddad hoodie poorly - he's now got the tum bug and chest infection, - just flown through the house.

Quietish weekend, Miss hoodie off to tap 2mor, the lady was really nice as she was poorly for her normal class, she could jump in with the equivalent other group. Thought was really nice, so its given her something to look forward to, and promise of a takeaway Pizza 2mor ngt. MSE as we've got discount code.

Hope everyone ok. Think its going to be welly weather 2mor from 5pm 2ngt just chucked it down, xx

Wow the last few days have been extremely busy as my Hub's Mum is not well at all at the moment. There's a catalogue of stressful things happening for us as well and it seems never-ending. I haven't really had chance to think about gifts - I hope that'll change soon. I'm still collecting loyalty points and trying to collate ideas to make, but I haven't even picked up my cross stitch lately.

Thanks, mum2one - other than stressed, I'm OK, but have had a bit of a bug this morning. It'll go. Hope you can get Miss Hoodie's blackberry sorted.

I've been having a look at this book with a view to making some Christmas decorations for people this year. A kind of personalised bauble instead of some stocking filler type things. Has anyone had experience of making this kind of decorations?
