    Hi all

I've been reading and looking at photos, links but not had time to reply, had a rather 'eventful' day out on Friday and still recovering!!

Going to to the art/craft club, it's already open but I'm just eating breakfast so very late, will return here later and comment.

    Have a good day everyone.
  • I am so behind *wails*

The car died twice in a week and has wiped me out of cash completely so no shopping for me.

I did buy some wool to make a scarf or knee warmer for the car but my needles have gone for a walk! I am going to grab some from the charity shop tomorrow as they always have loads in.

I still have no cards for my parents, the ones in the card factory are just naff so I am thinking of joint cards rather than single ones and then a joint one from the kids.

I love the sweet trees but all that sort of thing is too fiddley for my fingers but I think the sleighs are a great idea. Has anyone made them without using chocolate bars like kitkats? I was thinking of attaching the sweet sticks ( I cant think of the name lol) to the bottom of a box and wrapping other treats to go in it like little pressies - what do you think clever people?

I'm glad its not ust e who found the parent cards not very good in card factory, managed to get friends, other relatives ok but mum and dad dont look gd.

I used Aero bars for the bottom of the 1st batch of sleighs, got kit kat for others,
But I'm going to have a go at an adult version - in Home Bargains they do cans of wine - so going to use the canes as bottom bits. You could put the items into wrapping paper and then use the canes from there.

I could make it part of the wrapping rather than as a pile of chocolate you mean, excellent idea! Thanks! My Ds usually has little gadety things as stocking fillers they would be ideal for that. .

No sign of my wayward needles, I cannot think what I did with them! Ridiculous, but so me lol

Wow everyone is doing so brilliantly!

Nothing else here but we did do a stock take and we have everything for Small's advent calendar, stocking and actual present so that's good.

Need to do a stock take of all the rest of the stuff we already have next.

Well I have done nothing DD had a bit of an accident and so had to rush down south to sort her out. She ok now though and am travelling back tomorrow.

I hope to crack on with my craft fair makes. I am so far behind.

Everyone seems to be keeping busy.

Any one any idea on more reasons offer this week or have they not got one. The tins of biscuits are amusing me. I've seen the same tin for £12 . £8. £5 and last week £4 it's so weird, I decided not to buy any. It's become quite a challenge now, which is the best value tin of biscuits.
