Hi all, I often think of writing ladies but know that in the past there's been a gentleman too
Susan, was a nasty unexpected thing to happen to anyone, that fall in the bath poor DD. Good idea with the signs.
Mrs Moneypenny, the stocking is looking great.
Hi Suzitiger, welcome to the group
mum2one, the Christmas table will be good with the sleighs - will you feel like eating them after lunch?
Last night when I got in (had to buy new kettle and called into pub for quick chat) I spent hours on the Christmas card list it got complicated lol. Then I was trying unsuccessfully to finish DS2's last collage envelope, still couldn't find the right images even from the free mags I got when I was out earlier that evening.
Before I went out I made loads of themed collage envelopes for DS2 Christmas.
All that will remain to do to finish them 100% is to write each theme and his name on those small freezer zipped bags that have a white space to write on, and the money will go in there, then in the envelopes. I use the bags as he gets a lot of money (notes) and so it can be kept safe without falling out. I also need to buy another very thick marker which I use to write the themes, that ran out before I finished.
In the past before I had that lightbulb moment with plastic bags I used to make loads of envelopes in the same theme - very time consuming.
I will probably also start on his birthday ones in a few weeks as it's in January. I'll leave the Easter/Summer ones until next year.0 -
Very much looking forward to the next Santa's Challenge - I have almost finished the birthdays for 2014 and will have nothing to do if I don't find something to keep me busy while I'm trapped at the computer feeding the babe
Christmas cards will be happening soon as well. I have some lovely pictures and will print one out to include soon.
Also, if anyone spies any good deals on all-black Reebok Classic trainers and/or puppets (not finger puppets) for a 5 year old please shout upOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi all,
I've been a long time lurker and not even attempted to read through the pages I've missed out on. Don't think I've been on here since May!!
Started my Christmas shopping early this year, I'm more of a buy the bulk of it Christmas eve kinda girl! I have to be super organised this year as I'm 6 months pregnant with my 1st.
So far I have;
A secret santa present for work £3 instead of £5
X2 shabby chic wooden signs totaling £5.98
And a notebook with all the presents to buy inside. Luckily I'm only waiting for payday so I can start spending out.
Don't know if anyones seen the Argos Toy Exchange advertised but I'm definitely dropping by my local so I can pick up a couple of vouchers and get some cheaper presents for LO ready for next year.
Also got my nectar and loyalty cards so I can get cheaper presents for everyone.
Any other tips and pointers you lovely ladies and gents can give me will be deeply appreciated
