It wasnt really the alcohol. it was following another thread and it got me upset at the system and the boys being adopted.
Life is not always so easy to deal with and I get depressed still. Especially over the loss of my boys.

I for one appreciated you posting on that other thread -bursting a few bubbles of how others assumed the system works for the best. I know adoption policies have changed and sometimes it is possible to keep lose contact if the adoptive parents are agreeable -Have you asked if you can do this in any form -even if it is one way contact like the ability to send birthday presents etc to start with ?

oh yes we asked.we didnt even get told the adoption was going to happen or indeed that it had happened until I had asked why we were not given the date of the lac review.
A battle with them is iminant. I just need to regain control of my emotions before I am strong enough to complain again.
Have Dgd2 today. Dgd1 is back at school. phew is all I can say.

Yes I am fine. Just been busy.
I am tired as I am not sleeping well, and then I am trying to get my head around things and get the twins up to speed, and to make sure that DS is following through with his search for work.
I have been sewing, although not the full item a day that I want to make, but have been making several more sesame street pe bags. Today I have not had a chance to sew, I was out all day, as I was yesterday. Although I sewed yesterday morning, making 9 bags that just need the tapes.

I went to see the film the Quartet last night. With Biggest of Mooloo's. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised to see someone who looks like my neighbour as an extra! I must go and ask her if she is!. Naughty us, we took our own sweets in our handbags. ones left over from christmas. I took water in my bag. We did buy Biggest of mooloo's drink there though as we forgot to get her some water.

Twin1 babysat here with DGD, and twin2 sat for DGD2. All went well with no problems. I took twin2 back to hers but had to drive around the town hunting out DS as he had gone out and she had left her keys in the house. She is a wallypop at times.

I decided to get rid of the pine kitchentable thats been in my frontroom and the 3 chairs that went with it. Twin1 has it now in her place, which is big enough for it. The table she had she has passed on on Facebook or Freegle or something.
I am now going to move the folding table out of the kitchen and put it in the corner. As it folds down it means more space unless I need it.
DGD tends to sit at one of the coffee tables to eat, (its the right hight for her with her little chair). I tend to have one of those laptrays. Although we do sit at the table at times.
This evening I have been trying to get my head around having to make a CV for getting to work, and also at the same time to study the idea of making a business plan, for the ability to do my sewing properly.
This morning I spoke to the housing officer about the ability to work from the house, and what I had to do. She doesnt see any problem in my getting permission, all I have to do is put it in writing to get written permission granted. I want to cover the bases if I have to use my skills as a way back into work, and not just a play around with working.

Tomorrow I will be having a coffee morning with some of the mums, and those who have been inspiring me to do my sewing, and I want to get thier help to get myself off the ground around here with contacts etc and see if the one that offered to do some marketing etc and website building for me is really interested in doing it. I cannot keep blogs and websites etc up to date, photographs and all the rest if I am to sew. I will need to work at the sewing as its going to take a while to make it work, if indeed I can find the outlets for work, that will be cost effective.
We will see, maybe its all a pipe dream??? Mad moments perhaps.

I took DS to see a Blacksmith up by the canal today. He has given him someones number to ring about the Guild and apprenticeships. I had to leave him to ring, as obviously "you can take a horse to water but you cannot make him drink" and if DS actually wants to do this he has to get off of his backside and actually do it. I just hope that today has given him the incentive to get going.

phew I have been a bit intense these last few days.:D

I have had a day rather opposite to the one planned. Nothing new there. I started too early as DGD woke up before 6 and ventured in to wake me.Not impressed.
I went to see my friend for a cuppa and we were chatting for a good two hours. Oops.
My head is still not in a god place at the moment and I am struggling to concentrate on one thing. Which is taking its toll on my senses as am not sleeping so well.
My parents are home now so I will be going to see them tomorrow.
On a good note I had a call from DWP at lunchtime. They are investigating my daughters sanctioning case. Looks like she will get her money back paid. The woman has gone off to find out what has happened to the ESA claim and will get back to me later today. She wants to sort out a payment asap she said.
Fingers crossed. Then the housing benefits can also be released.I hopethat later today I can say I took the Dwp on and I won.

  • Congratulations for getting somewhere with the DWP! I think the whole sanction thing is fair enough for someone with no learning difficulties or disabilities, but at the end of the day, if someone is mentally or physically disabled, it is NOT fair to sanction them. I can't imagine anyone in this civilised country would be happy to think that the DWP were treating individuals like this.....at least I would hope not.

The ESA form has been found. Funny that and will be dealt with today. Twin2 has been promised her JSA payment before 5pm today.
So I took the Dwp on and I won! With the help of the local MP of course.
Currently sitting in the doctors waiting to see about my foot. Going to see my parents later on.

We are currently at a children's centre for a birthday party. gosh the noise is incredible. I have the beginings of a headache. Not so good with about another hour to go! It's times like this that I really feel my age.
I made or finished making another personalised PE bag for the little girl but I forgot to take a picture of it before I wrapped it.
My biggest of Mooloo`s is going to London to see The Lion King today. Her new boyfriend sounds a fairly decent chap who is wining and dining her. Treating her well. They are planning to go to Rome in March when Dgd2 is going on holiday with her other granny.
    I am thrilled for her.
The food part is happening now so I am able to sit in . the corner to do this.

Ihave started to do some knitting for a change to do in front of the TV.
Not my best craft but something different for a change.

  • How lovely for biggest! She deserves to be wined & dined after all that she has been through.

I still can't decide if I am ready to start dating again. I like my own company way too much!
