The first day is done :) it's been hard, as I'm tired, but the first day is always hard.

NSD too - took my lunch to work and no purse, so I can't spend :)

What a rubbish diary entry :o brain is refusing to co-operate. I may have eaten half an easter egg when I got in for sugar :o:o oops.

Only half? How restrained of you! I finished the Easter chocolate yesterday and am now 'decluttering' the birthday cakes :D

Glad your first day wasn't too bad. Mine was OK, but I'll be glad when this week is over. I've got several big things to sort out which I should really have started before the holiday...

My to-do list for school is pretty long too and it'll only get busier as exams loom!

Another day done :) today was particularly hectic, with no real break until 5pm when after school stuffs had finished, so I'm feeling pretty tired this evening. Going to watch master chef and then read for a bit and have an early night.

In money things, it's been another NSD for me today :) also checked the bank and it's looking okay in the run up to pay day :)

Doesn't sound like a rubbish diary entry to me. You survived the first day back and achieved your first NSD of the new term too. :T

    Thanks Lois :)

Having a nice relaxing weekend :) me and DH went out with some friends last night for dinner and a catch up which was lovely. We spent more than we usually do, but sometimes that doesn't matter. We can afford it, so therefore I'm trying not to regret it. We had a great evening, food was gorgeous and the company was good. What more can you ask for?

DH is currently watching the football and I've done my school work for tomorrow. Will have to check it again in a bit just to make sure it's correct - it didn't take me as long to plan as I thought it would, so I better check it's complete! :o

Another NSD for us today - after a shocking start to April spending wise, the second half of the month has been much better. It is so much easier not to spend when you're at work.... :

What a lovely weekend, and work finished by lunchtime :T

There's nothing worse than getting to work, reading your planning and thinking "what does that mean?" :o

    That's true :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, I was observed by the head today. He does it every year but you don't know when he'll arrive, and this morning it was my turn! I'm hoping it went okay; the lesson seemed pretty positive in terms of atmosphere and behaviour, and all pupils were on task and hopefully progress was shown. I shall wait for the outcome - I'm hoping not to be made to wait too long :o

After a busy day, I'm pretty tired tonight. I don't plan on doing much; we've had a simple tea of filled pasta with garlic bread (very healthy) and I intend to lounge on the sofa for the night and not move very far :D

Money wise, it's been another NSD today and, after looking at the accounts, it's all looking good for the end of the month :)

So, a round up for April :)

    • 14 NSDs
    • £358.65 OP for the month
    • £391.01 in savings.
Considering we've decorated the kitchen and I've been to London in April, I'm pretty pleased with that :) the OP is more than the interest for last month, and we're in the process of paying for Canada/America hence the lower savings.

    Not bad I think :)

    Aims for May:
    • 20 NSDs
    • £350 OP
    • £400 into savings
    • 6lb weight loss
I need to get back on the weight loss wagon :o I'm really really failing on that at the moment :o

Well done SF - impressive figures for an expensive month :T

I'm on the 'I'm tired so I'm going to eat everything in sight' wagon :o
