October 30th, 2016.
I need to get some focus back now. I find that if I try and focus on little things, then everything doesn't become overwhelming.
As I state in an upcoming blog post, I am trying to focus more on eating less processed food and more wholesome, fresh food. DS is now eating more and more normal foods, so I am conscious of what he sees us eating in turn. I am back on the slimming world wagon, but some of the things on there that are allowed are not actually that healthy. Things that are labelled as low fat and healthier, but which are in fact packed with artificial sweeteners which are really bad for you. The cereal bars that they sell which are really tasty, but full of sugar. So, I am trying to go back to whole, nourishing foods whilst trying to stay on plan at the same time. So, for example, I am not buying muller lights anymore, as they are packed full of sweetener. Instead, I have bought natural yogurt and I am swirling in a big dollop of cooked, pureed fruit into it instead. I am eating fruit instead of cereal bars or chocolate. Little steps.
I also need to get ahead with Christmas planning. I have bought DS's presents in the sainsbugs sale, so he's all sorted. I have also bought a couple of other presents for family member. But, lots more to buy so I want to get some of that done sooner rather than later.
Right, we're having a roast dinner today so I need to make a start.
Little things, little steps. PositiveBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

SF, I'm interested to read about your courses! How's that going? I'm sure there's a market - any business just needs time to build up, it's worth doing small classes to get your name known. Keep going2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hello. Have you seen your GP?
Feeling overwhelmed can be a sign of depression and feeling exhausted might have an easily fixable reason, e.g. anaemia. Lots of love xxx0 -

Actually, I worry about DH and his iron intake; we are both constantly exhausted. Overhauling diet a bit as we speak, so hopefully this will have an impact sooner rather than later.
Thanks for the concern xxBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Um. Going to see an expert about your health does not make you a failure.
Do you have a carbon monoxide detector?0 -

November 5th, 2016.
So much to do! My to do list of things to be completed in the next two weeks related to blog stuff is insane. My pre-launch date is Tuesday 15th, so less than two weeks. That is when I introduce the courses and new website, but there is still a lot to do behind the scenes. A lot. I don't like to do things lightly, so it seems! :rotfl:
However, I have come to the decision that it is now or never, so to speak. If I want to do what I have planned, I need to bite the bullet and give it a go. It will either work and be everything I'd hoped for, or it will fail. At least I know I have tried my best and given it my all.
Plodding along in all other areas really; investments are taking a bit of a battering in the run up to the election, so who knows what will happen to those during this month.
Happy SaturdayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Happy Saturday
As you always say on your current blog-site, focus on the dividends your investments are yielding and let the capital value of the shares wax and wane with the markets.
I only realised you also kept this diary on here recently and have subscribed, but I find your approach inspiring in one so young, and your writing is good and accessible. I am sure you will not fail.
Keep plodding - there is nothing wrong with plodding!
Your description of your eating/bingeing thing resonates with me. I am going to try the "less, some and none" approach as it sits well with me as a lifestyle approach, rather than a diet approach.
Happy weekend
