I am so not ready for it to be work tomorrow
I hate this feeling so much.
We've not done much today; I've been food shopping to Mr Ms and then just pottered around the house. I made HM shepherd's pie for tea which was goodfollowed by syrup sponge and custard. Perfect Sunday dinner I think! Very full now though, may need to roll up the stairs tonight :rotfl:
NSDs planned for the week as I've got ham for sandwiches, plus mango/melon/clementines/yogurt for lunches and DH has various other fillings. On the menu for nights includes roast salmon and veg, tuna pasta bake, SC chicken cacciatore and bacon + pea risotto
Right, going to try and make this evening go as slowly as possibleBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

First day done :j :j
It was lovely to get home and walk through the door to the delicious smell of our SC doing its magic - bubbling away was a chicken cacciatore which was very tastywe had it with rice and some bread and butter to mop up the sauce at the end. A little bit of faff this morning saved me lots of time this evening. I'm going to sit and research some more SC recipes, as it does make evenings so much more straightforward.
It has been a NSD today - I took a ham and picallili bread roll, with some prawn cocktail crisps, some melon and some mango. Had a bitesize flapjack piece with a cup of tea tooI was so hungry by lunch time though, I have definitely got out of the habit of having to wait 5 hours for lunch time!
Last week saw the highest views on my blog which was very excitingalthough today's are (somewhat predictably) down on last Mondays. Ah well, it's still a learning curve at the moment.
Might watch a film tonight, then have an early nightBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Well done with the blogging, what do you write about?
Where did you find the slow cooker recipe? We have one of those but find that there's too much food whenever we try to make anything with it.2018 totals:
