  • Hope you have a restful night and that the car bill isn't too high.

I think a glass of wine or a hot chocolate and PJs are in order

I cannot believe that it is only Monday. I'll be honest, I've had another pretty rubbish day. I've cried twice (!) at work today, which I can't quite believe. I have never been like this before at work; I have never felt like this before. I feel constantly on the edge of tears, and today one of them was in front of a senior leader which was slightly embarrassing to say the least. She was lovely at the time, but the thought of seeing her tomorrow makes me feel sick inside. The thing that set me off? Her asking if I was okay during our meeting. That was all! I'm not sure where to go from here; I'm not sleeping well either - I think last night I got approx. 5 hours in total - and there's still 5 weeks of term to get through.

Had a NSD today; took some fruit and a yogurt for lunch today. I've lost my appetite as well - a sure sign I'm tired - so didn't really fancy much. We had a freezer meal for tea (HM chicken cacciatore) and spent the evening on the sofa. I'm off to bed in a second as I'm so tired. Here's hoping for a good night's sleep.

I think if this continues, I'm going to need to speak to someone. I keep having certain thoughts lately, and to be honest, they scare me slightly. I do have a couple of people I can talk to at work but they have enough on their plate without me adding to their worries.

I just need a break from life for a while :o

Thank goodness it's the weekend, that's all I can say.

I have tried to make an appointment at the doctors but as I can't sit and wait in a queue on the phone, I haven't managed to get through during the day and by the time I've had some time after work, they are shut. Not the best set up, but not a lot I can do at the moment. I have had a better day today and slept slightly better last night, so perhaps the worst is over.

I've lost 4lbs this week though, which is mental. I have totally lost my appetite - barely managing a yogurt and some fruit at lunch - and not sure what to do about that to be honest. Again, I've not been like this before - I'm a woman who likes food! - but will persevere. I even turned down chocolate today, which is unheard of!

Anyway, here's to the weekend :)
