Perhaps your daughters could have pamper parties with their friends and you could paint their nails for them? (Or are they too young for all that).

    Same with lip gloss.

If you have some clothes they could dress up in too, they'd all have a great time.

Wish your FIL come come round to ours and put up a blind in DS' room.

White wing, you are right I am feeling sorry for myself, but I have a whole heap of minor drama going on so I forgive myself, :). My week ends on Friday usually (then I have a weekend with dh). I have to divide it up because I do the animals etc every day, diving it keeps me a little sane.

Blosson hill, my new meds make me more sensitive to the cold, which is frustrating working outside in this weather, also my heating is not being very compliant ATM. The meds run my hands into sort of numb claws when they get too cold. I am always too cold ATM!

Otherwise I feel ok, no better or worse I think. Just really, cold and tired !

Stroppy DD today. She is such a hoarder but I have absolutely refused to allow her new bed to be put up until she has decluttered her hoard of general bits and clothes. In her defence she is very dyslexic and it has always manifested in her in inability to organise her surroundings. I have given her loads of strategies but now it is just plain "stick" rather than carrot:mad:

No more doings for me today as I am tired out but still full of plans and will set to in my bedroom. My cleaner commented that I seemed to be getting more organised. She really must despair of having to clean round my stuff!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I'm shattered. Only been to work but I could happily crawl into bed and then have scrambly egg while watching Tom & Jerry or the like then go to sleep! So tonights boxes may not happen - OH does seem to have it under control at the moment though :D

May declutter a bottle of wine instead :rotfl:

I'm keeping on top of the things I've done, but nothing new in the decluttering department. In fact, apart from the cat, cat toys have appeared. :o Along with the food and litter. Admittedly I have room, but need to do a bit more in kitchen, as I'm not utilising the cupboard space I do have, plus the bedroom.

Had a bit of an upsetting convo with person from housing benefit section who told me off for not telling them about polling work I might have done. It wasn't until I came off the phone that I realised that I hadn't told them I'd done polling work (Once back in 2010 which they know about) last year, was because...tada...I hadn't done polling work last year! It seems you are guilty until proved innocent.

Hello again everyone - not done much in the way of dericharding today.

I looked through my bag of knitting wool oddments and decided that virtually all of it can go, so I'm going to photograph and e-bay it. I think I now need to get on with moving stuff out before I move onto the next room, so will be spending time photographing and listing stuff that can be e-bayed instead of clearing.

I can't find the number for the tabletop organiser so will have to leave that and just pop in this week to speak to them about booking for next week.

Have cleaned living room today, naughty cat pooped under the table again:mad: no attempt to be let into the kitchen where her litter tray is, so she's most definitely banished now! I'm managing to keep my living room fairly tidy most of the time these days, so that's progress!

More jam jars have been freegled and last of the bottles taken to bottle bank, so kitchen cupboards looking better too.

I'm feeling like it may actually be possible to have a 'normal' tidy house after all. Thanks to you all on this thread:)

Dh has brought home twenty four bottles of tobasco sauce.

What does one even say to him after that?
