For anyone that does park&fly at the Gatwick Hilton, there's currently an offer on for 1 night's stay, 9 days parking, dinner and breakfast for £179.
Typically our next stay will need 10 days parking! Does anyonw know if you can pay for/top up an extra day?0 -
Our plans are moving along ever so slightly for next year.
We are staying at the Platinum for 11 nights. We are also thinking we'll stay at Aquarius in Laughlin, but still not sure about Sedona/Flagstaff.
I logged onto Harrah's to check the rates, and December came up and it's mega cheap!!
Have also being doing Social Rewards. So far my husband and I have transferred out 2,000 points ($20 comps) and I have a further 3600 sitting, husband will have fairly similar. Looks like we have $100 comps total on this so far, good return for 3 months dong it!! I realise though that the remaining months won't be quite so good on it, the first month was really the major one for points, some days there's nothing new to share etc so no points at all some days. I notice the videos are working now though, couldn't get them to work these last few days. I've been able to 'watch' a load of them this morning. :j0 -

Maybe it's just me, but the rates direct with Hotels don't seem to get close to that of some 3rd Party websites? (Even the big name reliable ones)
I wanted to go 7 nights and just book the first 4 as a package through ebookers and then bolt on 3 nights. Was looking direct at Hotels and everyone I have checked has been more expensive than Alpha, Ebookers, Lastminute etc. Is this because i have to pay upfront usually on these websites and generally can't cancel at a later date?0 -

We booked with Expedia this and added two nights in the Paris with them (Saturday and Sunday) it only added around £15 each to the total on top of the flight with BA through Expedia. (resort fees extra though for a poor wifi connection)
Most people say wait to nearer the time if it's s long way away and then book with the hotel as you can cancel, we've did both previusly but usually opt for the package. We booked our other 5 nights with LowCostUSA at the Bellagio as it included the resort fee.
Can you not add the 3 nights with your original booking ?0 -
i'm regularly checking for our dates in Mar/Apr and nowhere comes close to Lowcostusa - I used them for this years trip as well.
I'll be making a final check in Jan by which time most of the hotels will have their offers covering our travel dates (a lot are upto end of 2013 and a few are starting to have end Mar 14 appear) but I suspect that lowcostusa will still come out on top - especially the ones where resort fee is incl, or optional.0 -
My aim for Vegas (for the last bit being 8 nights) is to get the Aria hotel for 8 nights (May 25th) for under £600 inc resort fee...
Can it be done ? probably not..
Can i pull it off ? keep watching !
I think you'll do that. Lowcostusa is £643 now for those dates - maybe messing about on the site with a 3 & 5 nights, or 2 x 4 nights would bring it down?0 -
I need some advice from you good people please.
I am going to Vegas in April with my husband. He has to use crutches to help him walk. At the moment we plan to get a taxi from the airport to the hotel and use taxis to get from hotel to hotel whilst there.
I have been considering hiring a car but I'm not sure how user friendly it would be so would appreciate answers to the following.
If we were to hire a car is parking easily available at all the hotels on the strip or is it easier and more cost effective to get taxis everywhere?
We want to go to downtown Freemont as we just stayed on the strip last time. Is it easy to drive and park there?
We don't want to go to the Canyon as we did that last
time but are there other places worth a visit within an hours or so ride?
I suppose I'm really just asking if car hire is worth it if we don't want to go on long journeys whilst there.0
