Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Cosmo cyber Monday offer is pretty pants. Rates not much better than normal and require full pre-payment with no cancellation.

Currently if you book you get $0 resort fee and 2 x passes for the Wicked Spoon buffet. I know I paid $28 a night resort fee and not sure what the buffet was but not particularly cheap,

The next unlockable bonus is a room upgrade too which I presume will be a suite but probably not the wrap around.

Just back yesterday after a week, low to mid 60s everyday which was short sleeved weather for me, only rain was on Saturday when we arrived.

Trip report started tonight, but off to bed now maybe post once complete tomorrow night - no jet lag yet for me but it's 12:30 and I'm still up :(

What time of year provides a good blend of price and weather?

I am looking at May and the flights are around £580 direct for when I want to go with good flight and arrival times. The hotel prices seem a little inflated. I can get 2 of us for 7 nights in the Aria which comes out cheapest of the big properties and a total price of about £1,650.

When I look at July, the flights are more expensive and the cheapest direct I have seen is for the 4th-11th at about £640. The hotels are definitely cheaper though, and as a result it comes in at about £50 more total cost to stay in the Aria. Is this because of the heat?

The only 2 hotels I didn't visit in November were Circus Circus and Monte Carlo so I have a decent idea about the facilities and amenities of most hotels but still can't decide where to go! I really liked Caesers but it looks quite expensive.

Aria is coming in cheaper than Mirage, Caesers, Bellagio, Wynn/Encore, Ventian, Palazzo, Cosmo. Only MGM of the big places is cheaper.

Yes July is dearer because mainly it's a bit too hot for many ...plus it is (USA) school holiday time so there are few business conventions taking up room space. The best summer time for a combination of cheaper fares and cheaper hotels is end of August - it's still too hot for conventions but transatlantic airfares drop around 25th August from peak rates.
