Lesley, where did your husband get his DVD's from? Dave's been looking for places to get them (he always buys loads), but since Virgin closed down in Caesars Palace, there doesn't seem to be anywhere that sells them anymore.0

"Medical" shopping day today. Then onto Fashion Show for Nordstrums shoe department, Tracy never fails to buy something from there.
Had a great chat with Lesley74 and NVH and their partners last night, also met Derek the GM of Platinum, he who gets us all really good rates. Got a bit of a scoop, the gang from TOWIE might be coming to stay next week for some filming. There will be pictures if it happens.
I've never watched Towie, but might make an exception if they're oing to be in Vegas!0 -

He buys them in Best Buy and FYE. FYE is in malls and Best Buy is usually on the outskirts of Malls. Target and Walmart have them too - but he didn't happen to buy any there this trip. HTH.0 -
Easter
Good Friday
Few years ago we got a really cheap flight with the little mentioned here ebookers with NW. We had booked the early afternoon departure and regretted it and wished we'd bought the morning flight.... So went to the airport early in the hope we could stand by for the earlier flight. How much did we wish we'd booked that early flight they were very overbooked and offering $1000 per person to fly on our flight instead . Vouchers of course but would have very nicely taken care of the next trip too.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I'm totally not a fan either, but would be interesting if we got to see Platinum in it...although Derek did say that they might not allow them to use the 'Platinum name' etc. Still undecided if they will make them an offer price for rooms...and it's very close, like 3 days away so I'd imagine they might have already agreed somewhere else.0 -

Buy on Amazon with a prepaid currency card and get them delivered to your hotel for your arrival - we're doing this for the GPS unit on this trip, its cheaper than hiring one and we get to reuse it on future trips0 -
Fry's is also good for DVDs, just off of LVB just south of Sunset...though we haven't been in a few years.
Most Vegas hotels will charge to receive a package so just be aware of that - fees are normally available in the business centre menu/pricing sheet you can normally find online.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

are you booked up already, may i ask what you paid for flights/hotel, etc?
just trying to weigh up if prices are going to come down any...
we booked PE on Virgin back in the sale in July - checking they're very slightly cheaper now (about £20). but that's OK, when we booked them they were less than we paid for October this year - and over Easter - so we were quite pleased...whether that means it's a good time to buy now or not I'm not sure.
We usually book our first 5 nights hotel via Total Rewards and haven't looked at our last few nights yet as it's so early so no hotel detail to give you to compare.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Sam from TOWIE has tweeted about looking forward to Vegas - I thought it was just for a holiday though, will definitely give it a watch if its for the show! Loving any tv / movies Vegas related at the mo.0
