Well, yesterday we woke up to see more clouds. We lazed about a bit then decided to walk over to Maryland Parkway, for a quick browse and some lunch. Just went to Pizza Hut inside Target (love their breadsticks!!).
Walked back over and the sun was trying to break through for most of the walk. Was a nice walk (about 1.5 miles from Platinum) but wouldn't have been so nice if it has been normal temperatures! We then went down to the pool and finally caught some sun
Went down to happy hour at Stir for a short while, then walked over to Bellagio buffet for dinner. We took our time and I eventually had to hurry for dessert because they were running out of some of them. The guy was generous with the bubbles towards the end, and although we left with drinks we couldn't finish them (that stuffed feeling after food again), and we sat at a slot machine with the intention of finishing off the drinks but then the cocktail waitress kept coming. I abandoned my bubbles and had a strawberry daiquiri, declined the next one, then we decided to walk back and not stay out too late...since our holiday is nearly over and we have an early rise coming up for our return journey.
Sky is clear this morning, so we're going to pack a bit then head to the pool.0 -
OOOOOOO Halloween!! I presume there will be fancy dress parties going on over halloween, wheres best for hiring costumes etc? Is there loads of options of shops, i imagine vegas would be a decent place for fancy dress shopping lol
I love Halloween anyhow, so Halloween in Vegas is awesome! We won't be there for it this time, but we're last time. I remember going into a shop, in the Stratosphere I think it was, and I thought the thing at the door was one of those animatronic Halloween statues, I nearly wet myself when I realised it was a real person who jumped out on me and chased me! :rotfl:
There was something in the Miracle Mile shops (i think it was there, I've got a terrible memory!) set up for Halloween, it was an attraction you walked through, and actors dressed as Freddie Kruger, Texas Chainsaw Masacre and other horror films jumped out! It was really funny!
You won't be short of places to find a costume!0 -
Glad you think this is good I was a little worried just need to book helicopter flight for sunday night

That sounds like Eli Roth's Goretorium. It's neat Twin Peaks and Bubba Gumps and the big Walgreen's.0 -

But I'll mention those places to him that's been mentioned above! His other big love (him and his Mam actually, they're totally as bad as each other!), is chocolate, so I'm guessing his going to be loving Godiva Chocolatier....seems very much like Hotel Chocolat to me.
If he buys from Amazon and gets it delivered to the hotel for you to take home he'll get double. Best Buy is the equivalent of Dixons/HMV here in terms of price versus Amazon.co.uk for example. Amazon.com is crazy cheap for Blu's at the right time...0 -

I don't think it was that, as it is 7 years since we were last there, and I don't think that's been open that long? I might be wrong though?0 -
Funnily enough I couldn't help myself and checked the other day, ours have dropped by £95 a ticket - annoying...
i think as long as you're happy with the price when you pay, then that's good enough for a good deal
i'm watching for prices at easter at the moment, and package on expedia drop by £1/day ... odd!
i want to go, think i've convinced the OH... just wondering how long to hold off for either an even better price, or for expedia/ebookers to come up with a good % cashback for packages through quidco...0 -

to be fair, we had to buy, as its so hard to co-ordinate pet 'hotel' (its home boarding, but almost the same cost per night as our hotel in LV!) and holidays at work for both of us - we go from thinking about it to booking them all within a day. We paid a fair price I think - but that extra £190 would have subbed the dogs a bit lol0 -
i have an mlife account, though it's basically unused (apart from a handful of dollars having gone through some slots!)
is there any real benefit of me booking an 8-night hotel stay through my mlife account?
for 2 people the maths is as follows:
VA flights + mlife booking = £2049.80
(not including £14.93 quidco cashback) = total £2034.87
expedia package booking = £1930.00
(not including £115.80 quidco cashback) = total £1814.20
i'm guessing i'm not going to get £220 worth of benefits on my mlife account?0
