  • Hope you and your wife have a brilliant time stoneman! :D Your wife looks a total glamour puss in your avi!

2 weeks today until we travel down to Manchester Airport to stay overnight before our flight!

Regarding the suitcase issue for bringing stuff back, I've just remembered we have a foldable hold all that we had to run out and get in London when we bought too much, I might put that in too. Although one of our suitcases is mahoosive....hubby says too big, I say just the right size for all our purchases! :rotfl:

Not been but do have all my own equipment.

I say go for it, I am guessing you will use a recurve bow so be prepared for a sore arm, you will have protection from the string hitting your arm but will be lucky to avoid it altogether

I think most americans hunt with a compound bow which are much more powerful and much easier to use but its not proper bows and arrows (if you know what I mean) so you may get to use one of those.

They maybe will have long bows as well and that's real robin hood type bows which are very hard to use.

sorry for rambling, if you do go let us know how it goes

Thanks photome! Is it easy for a left handed person to do? I remember being the awkward one when we went to a gun range last time in Vegas! :o

Also, it seems to be near China Town, does anyone know how far that is off the strip?

I'm still disappointed I did not get a chance to meet Tracy though she did have an awfully good excuse not to join us!

I love taking photos of my food! :rotfl:

The Cheesecake Factory is somewhere I want to go to, and after seeing that slice of Cheesecake in the photo, I'm thinking I could just eat that now! They look BIG portions!

I'm counting down the weeks till I leave for my Californian Tour. No meals included and, as I'm (part of a tour)going to be on my own, I wondered if there are any tips, or advice about vouchers/offers for meals for one? Most offers seem to be for two meals.

The food looks so good and I'm looking forward to it.

  • Has anyone been to Martorano's in the Rio? Is it any good? Is there any other restaurant you'd recommend in there? Am looking for a nice place to eat before going to see Penn & Teller.

If you like genuine Chinese food (eg a million miles away from sweet and sour pork balls) the Chinese in the Gold Coast next to the Rio comes highly recommended apparently.
