    Thanks for this.

If I get some time I might try and see if it's easy to work out from the basic maths - what I mean is that the return on the same win when playing 300 would be far less than when playing 6,000. The key will be how much and how often cash can be collected from the hotels I don't have (I'm up to a completed Bellagio so no MGM, Luxor, Aria (maybe one more)? And whether that extra income is greater than the potential additional winnings for playing higher stakes.

I would suspect that betting the higher stakes is better.

But then just as I finish typing the above I remember that the collection on hotels is occationally the gold so that would also need to be factored in.

I'm leaning towards max bets being better I think.

Anyone know what games are best, that you can just click auto-spin and leave to get on with it. Totally bored of finding hidden items etc

The importance of insurance. Recently taken ill at McCarran airport. Medics were called and I was transported to the Desert Springs Hospital which is four miles away.

I was dehydrated due to extreme diarrhea and some sickness. I was at the hospital for a total of eight hours undergoing tests to see what the problem was. Final diagnosis was gastroenteritis. Here are the three bills for the tests etc

Ambulance trip to hospital (four miles)............$1,014

    Emergency evaluation by doctor....................$962

Tests plus anti sickness drugs (8 hour stay)....$18,730

So for a four mile trip an evaluation and a few tests and drugs $20,706 !!! I wasn't allowed to fly for two days and my own out of pocket expenses came to over £900. Thankfully I was covered and everything has now been paid.

Just a heads up really as I expect most savvy USA holiday makers will already know how ridiculously expensive hospital care in the States actually is.

I also didn't realise it was quite that expensive, though I think stoneman posted something a few trips ago that was pretty scary...I can't imagine how much it would be for something more serious...not to make light of what you went through as it sounds just terrible...but you know what I mean...if it costs that much for those sort of tests, what would surgery cost?

I only ever play Studio City anymore...I get too annoyed with the others...I do have to check back from time to time for bonus rounds but not as much as most of the others...at least that's been my experience.

Was on here a lot last year before a Vegas trip & picked up the code for free wifi at the Cosmopolitan (along with many other tips).

I have friends going in a couple of weeks & they have asked me to find out if a code is still available.

Can anyone help with the current password?

    Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a code in current use?

    Thanks

Thanks for the heads up on costs. Hope you are feeling better now.

Who were you insured with as it's always good to know of a company who actually pay when they should. You only know the value of insurance and the company you are with when you need to claim.

Are you guys seriously telling me that you have expensive flights booked and no insurance in place? When do you travel?

If you break a leg tomorrow or a relative is diagnosed with an illness that prevents you travelling then you would lose the lot if travel is in the near future.

And if you think that sounds unlikely, a guy posted on here 2 years ago that he asked for his annual policy to start on 1 August to cover his very expensive honeymoon later that month. On 30 July he was in an accident and broke his leg. He lost several thousand pounds as his insurance policy hadn't started.

Strategy for MyVegas. From what I have read, you should bet low until all your hotels are built at 5 or 10 per spin. Lucky Birds, Bet the Farm and Lost in Time give you more LPs per x amount of chips than the others.

If you are playing max bet at say 17000 per spin, you only have one opportunity per 17000 chips to get a V to build your hotels. If you bet 170 per spin you have 100 times the opportunity.

We're travelling at the end of September. We only get the single trip insurance, so surely that doesn't start until we actually travel anyhow?

I'll be sorting it out tomorrow for sure.
