Need to see about Terry Fator as well.
I *think* ours booked last night, I got to the end and the CC is authorised but haven't seen any emails about it, so will wait a little bit longer before I ask them - if you do book can you let me know if you get am email confirmation through straight away?
Thanks0 -

This Embassy Suites, ideal location close to Foggy Bottom Metro stop, some rates include free self parking worth $40 plus tax.

Yes, we booked - via the Travelzoo deal which takes you to the Mirage website. No email either. I did print the final page with confirmation number though, so I'm not too concerned. It did say I would receive an email though, so it would be nice if it arrives and puts my mind at ease. Do let me know how you get on. We got the row P seats. Mid section 102(?) row P 1 &2. They're in a little row of 4 seats right at the back on their own. I googled and someone else said they had those seats and quite liked. We paid $98 or something like that all in. I've not been back in at my email (lon the main computer and I'm using a netbook in another room right now), but if I receive an email I'll let you know.
We booked Legends too - for the 2nd September which is our second night, at 930pm. That will keep us awake (hopefully) :rotfl: Again with Travelzoo, but this one is through Ticketmaster. Price on Travelzoo is $22.50, then it adds admin taking it to $49 or something for 2, then it added $2.50 int'l will call, but my confirmation shows less than the price it said online - confirmation is $49 maybe but the screen said $52 or something like that. Bit odd. Wonder what price will come through onto my card as.
This time next week we'll probably be moving to Palazzo. We have 4 nights at Palazzo and 2 at Venetian. I wonder if we'll be able to stay at Palazzo the whole time if we ask, with it being technically the same hotel. Does anyone know?0 -

I stayed at Foggy Bottom as well, but was about 18 years ago. It was fine. It may even have been Embassy Suites. I know it was a room with 2 double beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.
I remember it was Foggy Bottom due to the slightly humorous name. :rotfl: We took the metro to the waterfront area one evening, and someone approached us as we got off the train and asked us what we were doing. We were obviously arriving into a dodgy area, and the girl (who must have been a local and felt safe but felt we wouldn't be) walked us part of the way then showed us which direction to go and said to get a cab back and not to use that metro station! I think Washington can be a bit scary, so do your research before you go.0 -

I don't know the answer but I would ask at check in, my guess is they will let you, but don't hold me to that0 -

d'oh. I didn't take a screenshot lol
Ours were $126.25 looking at the CC authorisation- I guess they will be able to pull it up via email address when I get there, but I'll certainly chase them before I got in October to be sure- I seem to remember getting seats about 4 or 5 rows from the back...in the 102 block.

I just had a look on google...I believe I stayed at the Residence Inn Foggy Bottom. It has a rooftop pool.0 -
