(NO MANDATORY RESORT FEE, CHARGES FOR FACILITIES ONLY)
This is what the invoice says?
I'm sure it will be fine if that is what it says, just be sure to have a print-out with you just in case.
And I realised that I missed Lesley's question on Ka & Terry Fator...like photome we went to Ka on the Summer of Cirque deal if I remember correctly so $50-$55...Terry Fator tickets have come down from what they were when we went. I think the $36 Travelzoo deal that's regularly available now was about what we paid and then was a really good deal.
I see Carrot Top is $30 on TZ and I'm tempted by that.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Oh no. Can you change them? Do a forum search for Froggitt Zumanity.
Zumanity is the new Criss Angel for me...the show we only want to see to find out if we're in the love it or the hate it camp.I do know some people really enjoy it...many more than Criss Angel based on TA reviews at least.

I give up. Some people say Mirage Some people say MGM Grand.
One a 390sq ft room the other a 690sq spa suite. The Spa suite its £17 cheaper.
I think Vegas should have less choice. This is really starting to annoy me now. lol0 -
have you checked youtube videos of both room types? It can be difficult as some (MGM in particular) seem to keep renaming their room types...I can see the allure of a spa suite, especially if it is that much larger and less expensive...but I would kind of wonder why.
I haven't stayed at either hotel and I don't particularly like MGM and have little interest in staying there (I appreciate that having never stayed there my opinion is largely valueless)...like for like I would take Mirage location over MGM in a heartbeat...but 300 sqft and a spa tub might sway me.
We didn't like Harrah's room the one night we stayed there years and years ago but we're looking at a Petite Suite for April because hey, suite, maybe we'll give it another shot.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
that's interesting as Paris now has (as far as I know) a mandatory resort fee...it could be that LCU has a special deal where guests can opt out of it...I would get clarification on that and make sure your confirmation states that it's optional.
Looking at LCU they seem to have generally
Excludes Resort Fee (Venetian/Palazzo, Hard Rock, Tropicana, Trump)
Includes Resort Fee (MGM properties, Palms, Westin)
Optional Resort Fee (HET/CET properties, Cosmo, Wynn/Encore, TI)
No resort fee to pay (Elara, Platinum, Renaissance)
but in some cases the same property has a room type that includes resort fee and another that excludes it...Venetian/Palazzo, Trump, etc.
complicated.
I was thinking the same thing. I just checked for our hotel on there, and it says resort fee optional....and it isn't, it also says that on a lot of the other hotels I checked on there too....so I would check on that 21yearold. Like ferf says, you don't want to be clobbered with a bill on check out!
ETA: Just saw your post above....BUT, I still would maybe phone up to make sure because when I was on the phone to them before we booked our hotel, I asked if it included the resort fee, and she said "yeah, it includes that!"....then about half an hour later, she comes back with, "I checked on the RF, and it isn't included, I got that wrong"0 -
I go on 'Pools', if it has a nice pool, then I theory, it should have a nice room!!
I've stayed at:
Tropicana (Paradise Suite / Blagged!) = Super Nice (and pool was OK, swim up BlackJack!)
Mandalay Bay (Great Room Suite / Blagged!) = EXTREMELY NICE! Pool was like super amazing!!!!!
Golden Nugget (normal room) = does the job for cost, pool looked small and cool, but didn't use it!
Luxor (blagged free week in norm room!) = Pools OK and so on, especially the private pool!
So if u like your Pool time, go on Pools and then cost...
That's why next year, my options are Flamingo/MGM/MBay or Mirage. All based on the pools!0 -

I think the thing is having never been before we have to almost throw a pin on the map as its different horses for different courses - the Space in the MGM with the suite is such that its too tempting a deal - the mirage is a basic tower king room deal so not much above the norm.
I guess im gonna have to suck it up and book the MGM this time and go from there for next time - it ticks enough boxes for us and means I can add the little saved onto the other hotel nights (or stupidly throw it down the neck of a slot machine somewhere)

I like the idea of a pool, but I don't know how much Ill go in it - I must admit the lazy river sounds appealing0 -

Ok, so here's another view to put into the mix! If I had to choose, I would also choose the Mirage, purely because of the location. I've never stopped there, but it is a really nice hotel. Don't get me wrong, we love the MGM too, but I don't ink I'd want to stop there, I like something abit more central.0
