and curious bubbles, how much is a flight end of July into August ?
I got pals going next year in August, my guess is it wont be £593 for the flight i am about to book after posting this!!
flights are only released @11 months out so you wont get a price for next August yet0 -

yay ! will see you guys in April then, hopefully!
Also I had an email about the Hilton's Great Getaway - 40% off in Europe and got very excited as this is how we booked our last 2 stays at the LGW Hilton which we love for the convenience.
The email states that it's good for stays to 31 Dec 2013 but that's not what their site thinks at the moment - so far it seems to end aroudn the end of August from what I can see (have tried other hotels in Europe as well and same thing)...have sent a message but for some it may work - rates from £71 which teamed with a Virgin flight and twilight check-in the night before is, we think, excellent value...though there are cheaper options nearby this is our preference for the lack of faffing on the morning of the flight.

I'm so glad our trips coincide next year. It seems absolutely ages since we last met.0

My dates are fixed to 28/7 to 8/8 (from Manchester)so just try those on Virgin and you'll get a pretty good idea, don't want to post price on MSE site as might get thrown off cos it's soooo not MSE! Last year we paid about £1900 for 4 of us (3 ad 1 ch) so a tad more this year....
Can't find the 600 quoted by penny lane...0 -
However I have a plan to cover all expenses...I'm going to win big!:j0

Hi all
Going to Vegas for Xmas/ New Year, will be our 5th time :T
Am looking to maybe break the trip up by going somewhere else for a few days, maybe Palm Springs or San Diego, does anyone have any recommendations? Have been to the Grand Canyon a couple of times now, and to Phoenix and LA on previous trips. Bearing in mind it won't be hot in Vegas (in comparison to Scotland I'm sure it'll be tropical!) but Iid like to see/ do something we've never been/ done beforeIf at first you don't succeed - destroy all evidence that you tried.0
