can I ask what dates you looked at for those prices? Best I can seem to get is £560 but we're pretty flexible so the lower the cost the better.
EDIT - Ignore me, I just found the 'flexible dates' button and therefore a matrix view of cheapest fares, including £520
By the way there was mention of spring break earlier - I've done some basic research and although each college (Uni to me and you) seems to dictate their own spring break week, the most popular by some distance seems to be March 8th - 15th and March 15th - 22nd.
March Madness will culminate in the final 4 over the weekend of April 5th.
This year we were in Vegas during spring break (late March)- it was busier than previous visits in April but hotel prices didn't seem too badly affected (we got what we considered an excellent deal for cosmo. The major impact we saw was just how busy the pool was.0 -

Will give it a try! :beer:
A vegas poker dealer I talked with, he earned three or four times as much in tips an hour as in wages.
Waiters expect tips also as they get taxed on "expected tips", so if you stiff them, they still get taxed on how much you stiffed them for.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
£355 Warsaw --> LAX --> MAN
any use to anyone?:

Its on my fingertips to book for next year!
May 20th - June 3rd.....
The delta option via Opodo (with TCB) is showing at £600 (£593 with cashback)......
Soooooooooooooooooo tempted!!!
CC card is right in front of me, but am in 2 minds..... I cant really see it going any cheaper than that ??
and even if the option to fly to LAX came up for £520 each with Air New Zealand, I guess with hire car charges, it brings it in inline with the Vegas flight..........
The Delta option says its operated by Virgin, and that seat selection will become available on the 17th February....
As to cancelling ???? we know the Virgin flight will go ahead, so does make me wonder how Delta could cancel ? (they couldn't say the virgin plane is full could they ?!)0 -
Anybody who has made it over to the Orleans arena for a LV Wranglers Ice Hockey match will probably agree with me about how good it is.
That's why this looks like being well worth the money for anyone who will be in Vegas at the end of Sept;

LA Kings take on the NY Rangers (Fri), followed by Colorado Avalanche (Sat) 27th and 28th.
Tickets from as little as $55 which is great value to see a couple of top notch NHL teams when you consider I've paid well over double that to be as far back as you can be at Madison Square Garden.
PS - These games are at MGM Grand Garden Arena0 -

Ferf, what are your dates next year?0 -
we meeting for some beers then on the 21st May ?!!0

right then - much to my own surprise I've gone and booked 9 nights for us next year!
So I'm going to give this my vegas facebook thing a bash.
I'll be reading through the posts on this thread on the subject and I know there are a couple of experts here so I may have a 'dumb' question or two at some point.
I've set up an account in the name Martin Vegas as I didn't want to use my own facebook account as I think I read on here previously that it's best to add and be added by as many people as possible. Anyway, sure I'll figure it out after some reading here.
EDIT - - - AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH search this thread for my vegas and get numerous pages of results. Only issue is that only page 1 displays, I get an MSE error on all of teh other pages so can't get back far enough to find the useful tips and info I know is on here.
I'll set aside four hours and read from page 1 !!0
