    Hi gang,

Looking to book flights for another venture in 2013.

Last time I went was November 2011 - prices appear to have increased considerably. It appears cheapest to travel via Belfast indirect now?

Any other suggestions for flights in the £4-500 region? (for Sept/Oct 2013)

    Many thanks,

New poster, be kind please!! I have flown to Vegas via Dublin for the past 3 years ( and will do so again in May!!!!) The fares are usually about £100+ cheaper than via Belfast and with a better choice of carriers. Another great plus about flying from Dublin is that the US customs & immigration have their own pre-clearance there, so you clear customs etc before you even board your flight.
It means you arrive in the US and can go straight to your connecting flight without any hassle.

Forgot to add we paid £435pp for our flights from Dublin with Delta this year about a fiver more than last year, but a lot cheaper than via Belfast even after we add the £20 return express bus fare.

Ha - how funny - I am on the exact same flight!!

My wife is panicking we're going to get snowed in but still have a few days and Gatwick is always better prepared than most.

My flight back is to Heathrow however so I don't mind that getting cancelled and spending more nights in Vegas!!

I have a question about check in time for our flight in March. We are flying with Virgin from Manchester. The flight leaves at 09:45 and I'm wondering how much time to allow for check in. We usually get the train to the airport, as parking charges for six weeks are astronomical. We have a choice of two trains. One arrives at 07:17 and the other at 07:47.

In your opinion, would two hours be enough time for us to check in comfortably for the flight? I'm really not sure about this. The only other option is to travel the day before and stay in an hotel.
