Just stumbled onto this thread - looks useful.
Does anyone have any experiences of staying in the Flamingo recently (i.e. since it's been remodelled)?
We really fancied Bellagio or Venetian but also wanted a strip view and that was extremely pricey, so on the basis that a top-range room in a cheap hotel would be better than a bottom-range room in an expensive one I've gone for a deluxe strip view in the Flamingo.
But I'm still not 100% sure of this choice so if anyone has any experiences they can share that'd be great.0 -
As for R.Com, these are words from there staff! (below)
But as for cashiers not checking if the voucher is valid by calling it through, then that means the cashier is playing with fire as someone could use a voucher that aint valid and get a discount they should'nt get!! I used 8 last time and all were checked.... (although tip was done on full amount, grrrrrr !)
Cant recall how many visit email things i got as all got deleted...
But going back to using multiple vouchers in the same month, this is how a staff member put it to me..
If you want to use 2 vouchers in the same place, then print 1 to give to a friend, and then remove it from your account (as it states in the voucher section)..
This way it means you can use multiple vouchers as they are not linked to your account....
If you dont remove the voucher from your account and come to use a 2nd one, it will flag as a contradiction to there terms...
Hence the lady said, if you print and gift the voucher and then remove it from your account, that voucher can be used by that person....
Soooooo, i use mine, i get the missis to use my 'gifted' one, and then the 3rd gifted one, i just use myself again...
Only 1 is linked to my account, the other 2 are 'gift vouchers' to non account holders......0 -
Hi,
Am just starting to think about vouchers etc for our September trip.
Does anyone know a current discount code for restaurant.com please?
Thanks0 -

OK - if that's what they told you. But what if you remove it from your account and don't use it? How do you get it back? Or do you just have to be sure to hold onto the print out or it's gone? Are you sure you will want to eat the same place 3x in one trip?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
code is SAUCE0

dont matter if u remove it from your account, as long as u dont lose the printout (ie: like receiving a gift!)
or........
take print-outs with u, and if u know your about to use the 2nd voucher at stripburger for instance, logon to your account and remove the voucher..... if your not gonna use it, then no biggy if u lose the paperwork ready for next time0 -

Did you book a Fab or a Go room ?
Must admit I've never missed a Strip view when I've not had one at the Flamingo. I don't spend enough time in the roomIt's nice for the first couple of days but it wears off quickly.

A "Go luxury."
That was my thinking - a room's a room and so as long as it's comfortable enough and clean it should be fine - extra opulence and extra comfort would be wasted as I'm not going there for the room.0 -
Hello, not been on here for a while but we're off to Vegas again in September, could I ask for some pointers.
Whilst we've been to Vegas a few times we've not been to a nightclub and I'd quite like to give one a try this time.
Do you have to pay to get in?, do you have to spend a certain amount?
I'm feeling quite embarrassed :embarasse as I'm asking these questions, we're staying at The Bellagio so might be one of their clubs we visit.
Thanks for any pointers to stop us looking like chumps.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0
