Anybody know where I can get discount Absinthe tickets. I can get them online through ticketmaster for a $25 discount, but by the time I pay the fees there is little discount. The tickets come to $82 each inclusive
They were handing out $20 off coupons by the box office last week around 6pm, cheapest tickets $89 so wether that makes them $69 from the box office, not sure how many fees they add on buying direct0 -
In case you all missed it Norwich City FC have just beaten Chelsea to win the FA Youth Cup :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T0

Any tips for the Venetian?
We've grabbed it off Hotwire (I've been stalking it for months and it's the first time the magic casino symbol appeared for N Strip 5 star!).
As we are 2 adults and 2 children the extra person fees put many Strip rooms into the "not good value for money" category - so I'm happy with our Venetian deal (£360 for five nights Su-Thu including cash back - plus nightly resort fee)0 -
I know this is a very subjective question but i was just wondering what peoples gambling budgets were?
Me and TH are in Vegas for 5 nights as part of a west coast tour and i am thinking $200 per day each.
Maximum Ive ever been down on a trip is 200 dollars and that was 3 weeks stay,
Generally I play 5 dollar craps and take odds on pass line, generally can keep playing all night and make very little loss overal, normally in profit when working out price of drinks0 -
the r.com thing........
when i said the cashier rings it through, all the cashiers have to ring it through.... ie: they ring the tele number, enter the code followed by # !
That confirms to them the voucher is valid.... (hence it says dont do it yourself as it will 'use' the voucher !
The staff member said the voucher can be given to someone else and used by them, so when i said in the chat, "if i buy 4 vouchers and give 3 away, and all 4 get used in same month, would they work?"
Staff member said yes as somenoe else is using the vouchers....
My guess is, the terms state you cant use multiple vouchers for the same place, but guess that boils down to if the staff member reconises you handing over the voucher ?
Either way, i'll let you know how it pans out as will be doing this at Fresh Grill @ PH at least 3 times!
**Forgot to add**
If your printing the vouchers, once done, you need to 'remove the voucher from your account', ie: so the voucher is gifted to someone else....
This is how you wont be using the same style of voucher on your account in same month.....0 -
I used a r.com cert at Envy last week and by the time I got back to the room I had an email from r.com asking me to complete a survey so that one was processed right away.0

Just a heads up about DCC, Dynamic Currency Conversion when using a credit card.
Last year Ross charged me in GBP without asking and I went back and complained. This year they are giving you the option when you sign to choose GBP or USD. That is fine as I have the choice and it isn't being made for me.
However...............
watch if you are checking into the MGM Grand. The check in clerk "told" me to initial the T&Cs in 3 places. I refused to initial one section as it was to agree to be charged in my home currency.
We can't check our folio on the TV as it's not working so I asked for it to be emailed to me. Checked it and all was fine. (Well it wasn't, but that's a different story).
I had to visit the Front Desk to resolve a different problem and the girl happened to give me my final invoice, except this one wasn't in USD, it was in GBP. Yet another phone call once I realised, being passed to 4 different people, and they tried to blame my credit card company until I read out the statement which said that I had agreed to them charging a 3% "currency selection fee" (I hadn't) imposed by the MGM Grand.
Once I pointed out that what they were doing by changing the charge after I had agreed to it was fraud, I had it refunded and some.
BTW it hit 102F today for the first time this year and is forecast to be 101F tomorrow.0 -

that is shocking, I have never experienced DCC anywhere, and wouldnt expect it at such a large company, as you say what they did was fraud and should be highlighted0 -
If I hadn't noticed and just initialled the T&Cs without reading them, I would have blamed myself, but I did notice, didn't initial that section and they still tried to charge me.
I was on the phone for a good 10-15 mins before I mentioned the word "fraud", that they were using underhand tactics and that I would be reporting it to my credit card provider. That got her attention.0 -

Disagree - some do not call the number, I don't think...when they do agree that you'll get a 'how was your visit?' email and it will come off your list of unused vouchers.**Forgot to add**

Also disagree about removing them once printed - we don't chose to remove the voucher from our account manually as we may not use it...if you do give them to someone else then yes, it makes sense to remove it...but we have vouchers we'e printed several times as we haven't used them and misplaced them between trips.
It is intersting if r.com is saying you can give them away and they can be used in the same month though...I'd assumed that wouldn't work as they would flag as being from the same account.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
