" During taxi, take-off and landing, only headsets provided by Virgin Atlantic must be worn but once in the air, passengers are able to use their own headsets. "

Wonder what difference it makes ?
You can hear cabin crew messages either way.
Having the benefit of noise cancelling headphones makes a massive difference.

The headsets are to be used on take off and landing and have been specifically designed to break if passengers have to emergency evacuate, so as not to impede their escape.
During the flight you can use your own headset.

So the plane wont spontaneously combust if Im watching a movie on takeoff. Good to know. Can someone tell the Ryanair retards who on a one hour flight to Dublin dont let you switch on any electrical items until 20 minutes after takeoff, and make you switch off 20 minutes before landing.

Anyone seen the travel zoo andres voucher- looks like a bargin to me, thinking of getting it but very aware already tied down for 3 meals during the week due to myvegas comps and mindful about being to restricted
Seems god though anyone else been temted

I saw this on Wed and didn't post it as I didn't think it was that great a deal. Yes there is a saving, but I thought the courses may be tasting menu size portions. That would be fine for me, but I wasn't sure what "rib eye cap" would be. I think I have come across it before and it was a quite small steak.

We did consider it, then decided we would prefer Mon Ami Gabi.

Now there's another place I can't fit in to our schedule and we haven't managed for a couple of years even though we really like it there.

Rib Eye Cap is the piece of meat around the outside of a ribeye steak its over a foot long and about 8 inches wide, it is one of the best tasting pieces of meat on a cow and expensive, of course I dont know how big a piece Andre will cut off.:D.

I quite fancy the menu, but like you we are full up with options, it would be a chance to step inside the MC, it is the only strip hotel I have never set foot in

Don't know if they're cheap but there is a bank of America a 5 minute walk on the same side of the road going away from the strip. As a main bank I would expect it to not be the casino rip off. Opposite the bank is the car wash/ gas station Trop Stop they have one plus it is handy for all the bad stuff....Twinkies etc!

    You could try searching here:

    http://www.mastercard.us/cardholder-services/atm-locator.html

for those in the 'Surcharge Free Alliance'...I got this link somewhere (probably somewhere on MSE) ages ago and I keep meaning to test this out when I go home but haven't yet...so no idea how good the results will be.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

how strange - I had tried it before I posted...just tried again with the Orleans zip code..these are the closest it's coming up with with a little $ with a circle around and slash through it which seems to tie to no fee...whether this is true, there is an actual ATM, etc...I'm not sure...
