I've just googled 'orbital bone' and am still not sure what area I should be using cream on! Help! :o

If you run your fingers over eyebrows, down outside of eyes and then in towards nose you will feel the ring of bone around the eye sockets, if no explicit instuctions on product this is the safe way, (as someone (sorry not sure who) said earlier, the product should find it's way to moisturise the area needed. Work from inside eye to outside, it is supposed to help drainage and lessen eye bags. HTH:D

Tempted by a couple of the current LIB offers but consoling myself with the thought that there'll be more when the time comes that I actually need anything and I've whittled the stash down. So far, that's working! That and defrosting the freezer :rotfl:

Dare I ask, what is LIB? Not sure I want to know as I will then be tempted myself!

Just got dolled up for a wee meal out with OH so have another 2 UU and a TA. :)

Jo Malone Dark Amber & Ginger Lily Cologne. My HG perfume but have another bottle to use up before I can justify buying another!

Bare Mineral flawless definition mascara. A sample sized one that came in one of the starter kits and it's another HG product as it doesn't smudge or slide into the bags under my eyes by the end of the working day. :rotfl: There's a full sized one in the stash so something else I won't need to buy for a while!

TA is a Maybelline colossal volume mascara but WNBA as I couldn't really see any difference from an ordinary mascara plus it smudged easily on me.

It's basically where you can buy samples online to try, sometimes there's full sized products. Some ofthe brands are luxury or niche brands.

  • john freida frizz ease spray, this is excellent, I don't have frizzy hair but my hair is fine and can get quite knotty, this did a great job at akeeping the tangles at bay, wba

Hi Sunshineyday - is this the spray you use?

    http://www.boots.com/en/John-Frieda-Frizz-Ease-Daily-Miracle-Treatment-200ml_1234385/

I have just finished untangling my daughters hair after swimming and anything that might help would be great. Every time she washes her hair we have a battle to get the tangles out.

I used to buy a de-tangling spray from another brand (can't remember which now) but it was discontinued. This would be a necessary IN as I have nothing but conditioner to help at the moment. Any other ideas would be welcome.

Welcome all newbies , it is great to have some new faces.

Rogueylawyer - hope you are ok, have only just caught up with the thread so am a bit behind the times. Maddiemay seemd to have the best recipe for helping.

    And finally another UU:

Boots no 7 wheatsheaf eye shadow - WBA, this was a good base colour but have so many other eye shadows to UU first - probably about a kilo of Bare Minerals ones if I counted...

Hope you are all managing to stay safe and warm :snow_grin

You've just 'made' me add that link to my favourites. You're a bad influence. This thread is like going to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous, not the Automobile Association!) and then going to the pub for a drink afterwards! :rotfl:

Have you got a Tangle Teaser? My hair is very fine and very straight but it does tangle easily. These brushes are really good. I've only started using a comb again since my accident where part of my hair was shaved off and I had to have a side parting to cover the baldy bit. I still use the Tangle Teaser though, to get some of the knots out before I finish with a wide toothed comb to get the last of the knots out and put a part in.

I think things are improving on the hair growing front though. I've thrown caution to the wind (no pun intended) and just brushed it back a few times. I show my war wounds to all and sundry anyway so don't know why I worry!

I had been loking at this last night and realised that I could buy the Editors Choice for a few pence less than the individual 4 items I have on my wish list from the Luxury Samples, having decided against the Revitalash I think I will go for this - prepare naughty step for occupation:rotfl:
